Day 24

"We're here Akashi-sama." The driver stated. Akashi looked out the window with a dazed look,"very well." The limo came to a stop with gawking eyes looking at it. Akashi stepped out as well as usagi.

"Usagi." Akashi called. Usagi stopped admiring the pretty colours of the lights in the festival and quickly turned to akashi. "Yeah?" She said. "Come." Was all he said before turning to go deeper into the festival. Usagi quickly went to catch up to him and stood next to him with a smile.

Akashi side eyed her and looked around the stands. "Oh! Akashi! Look" she grinned pointing to a fairy floss stand. Kids were crowding around it with their parents and Akashi felt some envy looking at the scene. "What about it?" He asked. She beamed at him while she dragged him towards it. He let the fact that she was dragging him go for the sake of proving a point.

He felt her hands on his. It was soft and he liked the feeling. Once they reached the stand she let go and he wanted to grab it again, But he didn't.

"Two please!" She smiled giddy for the sweet treat. Akashi watched her with observing eyes. Seeing her childishly smiling about something so small made him feel a little happy.

"Alright miss!" The stand guy grinned boyishly. He was a plump man with lots of hair, anywhere but his head, Unfortunately.

He gave it to the two once done. The girl quickly munched on it happily while they left the stand. Akashi hadn't touched his and just stared at her while she at hers. She glanced up at him. "Eh? Akashi, why haven't you taken a bite yet?" She asked staring at him questioningly. Akashi looked down at the cloud like treat. He had never eaten something like this and wondered what made it so special? He had seen it a couple times but never had one himself. He twirled it around to check if it had anything he did not want.

Usagi took a piece of hers in her fingers and held it up to his mouth."come on! I promise it's good!" She smiled. He frowned wondering if she had washed her hands. She pushed it further until Akashi sighed and are it from her hands feelings like a dog. He pushed the thought away and savoured the flavour, Liking the way it melted on his tongue. The sweet taste swirled around his mouth.

"So?" She urged to see if he found it good. "It's good." He said back. She grinned and continued to walk, while walking Akashi quietly ate his fairy floss and watched usagi smile.

They went to many different stands and ate a lot of good food, food which Akashi had never tried before. He smiled when he saw her grin at his nice replies of how he enjoyed the food.

It was finally six and it was time to watch the fireworks. Akashi led her to a special place where he had once watched the fireworks.

They sat down on the grass and the girl watched as fireworks exploded in the sky, Akashi watched her while colours flooded her face.
