Luke's POV

I needed time away, away from my family, I went away for two weeks with no contact, no care, just pride that I'm free for two weeks... do I miss everyone, of course... but I needed time....

I see the text messages on my phone from Julie but I don't read them... but when that one text message popped up 'I need you, it's an emergency...' my heart dropped, what if it was my kids... or even my friends kids... I needed to go back ASAP no time waisted....

I poofed back to see Julie outside in my blue jacket in tears worried sick about me not answering her calls or text messages...

"Luke..." she says after she got the message and me just showing up, her face pale like she seen a ghost...

"Jules... I can explain..." I say quietly walking up to her with her taking a step back her facial expressions went to, crying, to in shock, then pissed off in less than three seconds...

"H-where..." she is only able to speak "where were you!" She immediately starts crying "Alex, and Reggie and Willie have been searching for you for the past two weeks... I've been calling you, texting you..." she looks down and my face softens

I walk over to her and hold her in my arms kissing her on the head "I'm sorry... I needed a break, a pause... from everything..." I say quietly I lift her head up rubbing her chin "I love you..."

"I thought you just disappeared... I thought your time was up... or you met another girl..." I shake my head instantly when she said another girl "Jules, I'm crazy about you... I could never go for another girl...you're it for me... my life has never been better, you're my life..." she lets tears fall

I kiss her and wipe the tears off her face "I just needed a little time away... that's all...you're it for me...I made a vow to you, and I'm keeping that as my word..." she chuckles but tears still begin to fall "I have to shower... I haven't showered in two weeks..." she says
