'Do we have everything prepared?'

'Everything is in place and ready to go!'
It's around 4:30pm the time we were supposed to be completely ready for things. The other kids and I bring everyone inside the den and Lily the lead of this whole thing speaks into the microphone...
"Hi, as you know I'm Lily...all of us came up with the best idea and give the two love birds Alex and Willie a show since it'll be their 11th year anniversary..." my dads look at each other smiling and hold hands...
"Give it up for Dahlia and Rose!" We all start clapping for her
She walks up to the piano nervously and Rose follows her to go up to the microphone she looks at Julie nervous all around and Julie nods and smiles.
She starts to sing
"Eleven years of shared dreams, countless memories like sunbeams... Through every laugh and every tear, our love has grown year by year."
The piano goes a little faster
