Untitled Part 6: BROTHERS!!!

He reflected on what happened between him and Kook and wished he had gotten a room with him, but Suga Hyung will be sharing a bed with Kook for the remaining days of their stay at the beach home. 

The next day, they all got up early to see the first light over the ocean.

Jimin wanted some privacy with Kook, so he asked Kook to escort him for a morning walk around the shore. While hanging out at their usual spot by the sea, Jimin decided to test the waters. 

He started teasing and flirting sexually with Kook, trying to gauge his reaction. 

Kook, being the easy-going guy that he was, played along and even flirted back. Jimin's heart skipped a beat; he couldn't believe that Kook was reciprocating his actions. 

But he didn't want to get his hopes up, so he continued with his little game. They laughed and joked around. As the sun was at it peak, they decided to head back home for breakfast. Jimin couldn't hold it in any longer; he had to know if Kook felt the same way. 

So, he mustered up the courage and asked him, "Do you ever think about us being more than just friends?" 

Kook's smile faded, and he looked at Jimin with a serious expression. Jimin's heart sank; he thought he had ruined everything. Unfortunately, Kook stood up and smiled.

Kook: I thought we were already more than friends; we are family, like brothers.

Jimin felt a sharp pain in his heart, like, why did he even ask, knowing they are his brothers even if they don't share the same blood? 

He looked unhappy while they walked back to the beach house. The response was sour and painful. Jimin's heart sunk; he couldn't believe that his best friend, the person he had fallen in love with, saw him as a brother. 

Jimin recognized where he was with Kook and determined to be more open to everyone, not only Kook, in order to divert his thoughts away from Kook. He does not want him to feel uneasy around him if he behaves similarly to the other members.

The members knew who Jimin was, so they weren't startled when he hugged them, kissed their necks, slept on their chests, ate their food, spoon-fed them, and engaged them in numerous flirty moments. They saw him like that and admired him for not hiding his true personality from them, but something felt off to Kook.

They joined the trekking team to explore the mountains; they played scavenger hunts, listened to stories about the region and how it came to be, visited a zoo with various animal species, and attended a small pool party for only those who reserved the space.

They had a singing competition in couples, and Jimin was extremely flirtatious with his Hyung; the guys laughed at Suga for tolerating Jimin, while Kook gazed in envy.

Suga noticed Kook grimace at Jimin back hugging Joon and smile silently. 

They had a really exhausting day and felt fatigued. Kook wanted to sit next Jimin on the way back to the beach home, but Suga took the seat and leaned on Jimin's shoulder to relax. Kook pretended he was not going to sit there and walked by them to the rear seat. He kept looking at them from behind with jealously.

Suga got further hints about Kook's behavior when Jimin flirted with the members other than Kook. He requested Jimin to share his bed with him tonight, which surprised Kook.

Kook: Will I sleep alone tonight?

Suga : Yes.

Kook: No, Hyung, I'm afraid of sleeping alone. And why can't you lie near Tete while I share a bed with Jimin?

Suga: I apologize, but I said it first so you could go to bed with Tete. Goodnight, Kook.

Kook pouted his lips, as if about to cry, and dashed to Tete's chamber to distract himself from his jealousy.

Jimin and Suga did everything together, from video games to having a talk on couch in the living room.

Joon: Why are you guys awake?

Suga: We're having a talk in the living room.

Jin and Joon joined them in their discussion about life.

Kook slept on the bed, wondering why Jimin is not acting the way he used to with him but would rather do it with the members.

Kook regarded Jimin as more than a friend; he saw him as a brother. They shared an unshakable bond. However, one thing always troubled Kook: Jimin's flirty behavior with his other male pals. Kook couldn't explain why it bothered him so greatly. 

He wasn't romantically attracted to Jimin, but seeing him flirt with other guys made him envious. Perhaps it was because he was one of the few individuals who fully knew Ji's flirty side, and he didn't want to share this with anybody else, including his BTS brothers.

Perhaps he didn't want to lose his second-best friend to someone else.

Kook couldn't sleep, so he went to get banana milk from the fridge, where he overheard the elders conversing. He was about to join them but Jimin was sitting beside Joon with his legs on top of Joon's thigh. 

Kook tried to ignore it and focus on his drink, but he couldn't help but be annoyed. He excused himself to visit the restroom, and when he returned, he noticed Jimin and Joon drinking from the same wine glass. 

That's when it dawned on him—he felt envious because he was frightened of losing Jimin. He resolved to confront Jimin about it that evening.
