Part 3: FRIEND OR LOVER

'Boys, boys, come down for breakfast; hurry up before I leave for work,' he said to them.

Jimin: Kook, kook, wake up. Dad is calling. He is calling us to come down.

Kook: 5 minutes Hyung, 5 minutes.

Jimin: Get up, or I will tickle you to wake up, or you want to starve this morning.

Kook: Ok, I am up. Let go, but do I need to freshen up?

Jimin: No, let's finish eating, then freshen up later.

Dad: So, what will you guys be doing for the whole day because I won't be around?

Jimin: We are thinking about going to the market as the fridge is almost empty and getting some new clothes for when we resume work and movie night.

Dad: Can I join you guys? I can cancel today's work and hang out with you before you go back. What do you say??

Jimin: I would like that, Dad. Let us freshen up and set off, then let go. Kook, Kook, drop the food, and let go. 

Kook: But Hyung, I am not done yet; just two more spoons. 

He got pulled away to the washroom, and he waited for him to finish before he took his shower. They dressed in jeans and t-shirts. 

At the market, they bought so many fruits, pork meats, drinks, and banana milk, of course, then bought seven new pairs of outing outfits each. While riding the car, they stopped for ice cream and took a seat under a tree, laughing and enjoying their ice cream. 

The night was drawing near with dark clouds as a sign of incoming rain, so they hurried home. Roasted meats, drinks, popcorn, ice cream, and many more foods were available for the movie night. 

Three hours into the movie, Jimin saw his dad dozing off and signaled Kook to watch his dad dozing off. They silently laughed while tapping his dad to go to bed. Dad tiredly walked into his room, leaving the two in their room.

Kook: Hyung, this banana milk is different from the one you gave me last night; why didn't we have those? It was nice.

Jimin laughed at his innocence and said, 'Those were my secret recipes, which I made for you; do you want me to fix you some before you sleep?

Kook: Yes, I would love some.

As he stepped into the kitchen, the sound of drumming raindrops was heard as the wind whistled sweet melodies into the night. He hurriedly mixed the soju and milk together and headed back.

Jimin: Here you go, Kook. Drink it slowly while we watch the movie. I don't want you sleeping and leaving me alone while watching the movie.

Kook: What do you mean, Hyung? Did you add a sleeping tablet to the milk?

Jimin: Hahaha, I added soju to it, but in small quantities, so do not worry.

Kook: Hyung, but wait, it tastes nice. I like it.

Jimin: But promise me you will not drink adult drinks without my presence, and you will only take such drinks when I give them to you.

Kook: I am confused by your words, but ok, I promise.

Kook started fidgeting, and Jimin knew he was drunk again and did not know what to do. The lightening stroke made Kook jump onto Jimin for safety, making Jimin burst into laughter.

Jimin: Yes, I am here; you are safe; you can cuddle close to me, ok?

Kook: Can I sit in between your legs? I will feel safe there.

Jimin: Sure, come here.

He sat in between his legs and leaned his head on his chest while covering himself with the duvet. 

After 30 minutes passed, Kook started behaving strangely again, but Jimin was not shocked anymore as he knew how Kook behaves when he is drunk; it is like he has two different personalities. 

Kook took the TV remote and turned the TV off. Jimin stared awkwardly at Kook's movement as he approached him. 

He held Jimin's hand, leading him to the bed. Jimin followed his lead slowly to see what he would do tonight too.

He sat down quietly as Kook climbed on top of his laps, staring deeply into each other's eyes. 

He felt Kook rubbing the tips of his fingers on his lips while biting his own lips and directing Jimin's hand to snake around his waist.
