"Are you read yet?" Chase shouted from downstairs. I was currently in our bedroom getting read for our date to celebrate our one year. "Yes, just give me 5 more minutes!" I responded from our room.

He parked the restaurant. I took in what it looked like. It had white stairs leading up to the door. We got out of the car and walked up. At the front, it had a canopy huge area. I'm looking up, and it had string lights hanging with warm lighting.

We walked inside. There was a woman standing by a screen. "Hi, Welcome guys! have you guys booked a table?" She stood with a big smile showing her white teeth.
"Yes, we have booked a table." Chase responds. She clicked a few things on the screen. "Can I get the name for that, please?" She asked.

"It's Russo." I feel butterflies. It's weird to say my last name is Russo. "Okay, awesome, follow me, please." The lady takes two menus in her hand, walks to our table.

"Thank you for this." I say. His gaze softens. "It's okay. You don't seem well recently." He grabbed my hands from his side of our table. "No, I'm fine, but it's work." I respond.

The food came a few minutes. I ordered a stake medium rare, and he ordered a burger.
