.......Reiner remained frozen in place. He barely opened the package, but he knew they were cat ears. He saw the fur sticking out, he saw the colors of it.
Reiner was absolutely flabbergasted. Reed did NOT just do that.

..He opened discord to see a message from Reed.

Reed: ...Do you like it?

Reed: Good. I'm sure they suit you, you know.

The moment that message was sent, Reiner got an idea.
A stupid one, but still an idea.

Mocha_kitten☕️: ...Can I send you a picture of me with them?

Silence.

Mocha_kitten☕️: Please?

Reed: Sure.

And Reiner did exactly that. He took a photo and sent it.
Was this the dumbest and most dangerous thing he could do? Yes.
Did he do it anyway? Also yes.
Though, he did not show his face. The only things visible in the photo were the ears and his hair.

More silence.
Reiner didn't know what he thought of it. He was worried. Did he just reveal his identity? Did Reed recognize him? Is he going to make fun of him? Hell, was Reed actually just playing along? Did he not mean all he said?

...Did REINER mean what he said? Does he actually like this guy?
...He doesn't, right? So it doesn't matter what he thinks, what he does,...
He could also die, but death isn't something he fears.
