The scene is set. A young man in his early 20s was walking down a dimly lit street late at night, at around 11:30 p.m., when he encountered something strange in a backstreet alleyway. Around the corner was a dark and cramped alley that felt more like a corridor than it did an alleyway. But with only 5 feet to spare between him and the walls of the surrounding buildings, he caught a glimpse of what appeared to be someone hunched over, hiding admist the shadows with their back facing towards him.
