Snapping out of the flashback, Jack asks the little girl who was sitting outside, "Hey, little girl, is this your house?" The little girl replies softly, "Yes." He drops his bike, walks past her, and knocks on the door. Her mom opens the door and says, "Hello, how can I help you?" Jack replies, "Hi, ma'am, I believe your daughter is playing on the sidewalk again." Jack then says, "Your little girl was unaware of the danger she had put herself in, so I felt the need to -"
The worried mother immediately rushes past him and says, "OMG, WHAT HAVE I TOLD YOU ABOUT DOING THIS ABIGAIL!?" She turns and looks at him with tears in her eyes and says, "Thank you, kind Sir." Jack replies by saying, "You're welcome ma'am, I'll be on my way now." He picks up his bike and then proceeds to haul ass to his school. He finally arrives, and with a bright smile on his face...
