Kiara's legs bounced as she sat on her hotel bed, her hair getting touched up by her stylist. She had brought her sister, Mina, and KK with her to the draft. She didn't exactly speak to her parents anymore, but it didn't matter. With Mina, KK, Paige, Nika, Azzi and Aaliyah, she had all the family she needed.
"Kiki!" Mina raised her voice after several attempts at trying to get her older sister's attention.
The tattooed woman's head snapped towards her sister, both Mina and KK giving her concerned looks.
"Yes?" Kiara asked quietly.
"Girl, you need to chill. Everyone already knows you're gonna get drafted. Don't stress so hard," KK said and sat down next to her older friend.
Kiara sighed, "Well, I know, but it's still nerve-wracking."
"We're here for you, babe," her sister said with a soft smile.
Just as Mina finished speaking, the door flew open and revealed a blonde head of hair. Paige had finally made her entrance. The blonde was wearing a white suit and gold accessories with more makeup on her face than Kiara had ever seen her wear.
"Okay, P Boogers, lookin' good!" KK exclaimed and stood to dab up her friend. The two sisters joined in, jokingly wolf-whistling at the blonde. Paige did a little spin to show off the outfit.
"You guys look dope," Paige said and threw a wink at Kiara. The brunette just rolled her eyes and stood up, running her hands down her dress to get out all the wrinkles.
Nika, Azzi and Aaliyah ran into the room too, opening the door gentler than Paige had. "C'mon, guys, we gotta go!"
"Coming!" they all yelled in unison and gathered their things. The sisters both grabbed their purses while KK put her blazer back on. They all made their way out the door and to the elevator.
