"I forgot how much I hate meeting new people," I said in the passenger seat as Brie drove. "You will do fine Cars,"

"And that Walker kid told you his friends like your music! So you will fit right in."
I sighed as I looked for my phone. We still had about 7 minutes, I could distract myself on my phone. The perfect distraction came around.

yeah, about 7 minutes till we get there.

I don't have my drivers yet so my aunt is driving me. dw she won't stay.

I was getting out of my car and told my aunt to wait for Walker. He got out of his car and hurried by my side, he gave me a side hug as my cheeks felt hot again.

"Brie, this is Walker!"

"Hello! Nice to meet you,"

"Hello, Mrs. Hayes!"

"No need to call me that! Well, you kids have fun! Call me when you need me to pick you up!" She smiled and drove away

"Well she looks the same," I turned to her. Her hair was pinned back, she looked pretty.

"So... Do you live with her?" I couldn't help myself, I wanted to know everything about her.

"Yeah. When she realized she wanted to work behind the scenes, I was also figuring out that I wanted to work the same way she had. so she is now my agent, my manager, my publicist, my... mom. basically," I could tell I had saddened her by the question. I didn't mean to. 

"Sorry if I-"

"No! you are fine," She smiled, and that's when I finally looked at her hands. She was holding a plate.

"What do u have in there?" I desperately wanted to change the subject. "I made brownies," She smiled

"Oh! That is so sweet Carter!" She shrugged. "I love making brownies and baking helps me calm down so that was the perfect thing to do before coming here," She laughed and I swear I melted on the spot.

That's when I realized that we were supposed to be walking in. "oh, c'mon," I said as I started to walk waiting for her, she walked alongside me. We reached the door and knocked.

"Anything I need to know before I go in?"

"Yeah... It's a game night so be careful,"
