It's your Birthday

3 months later

Tanya POV

I was now back to my hostel after a tiring day at college. I opened the door of my room and turned on the lights, placed the key aside on my study table and dropped my bag on ground because I was hell tired. I then threw myself on my bed waiting for my roommate to come. I was staring at the ceiling and closed my eyes. Then suddenly I felt a vibration sensation on my right thigh. Knowing it's my phone, and someone texted me. I groaned and took my phone out to check the notification, saw the message from lock screen and quickly sat on my bed. A smile crept on my face on seeing the message. It was none other than my boyfriend, actually long distance boyfriend, Rohan. The text said, "I have a news".

I replied, "what is it?"

He said, "do you miss me?"

I replied, "a lot".

Then he replied, "then the wait is over, I'm visiting your college".

As soon as I saw, my eyes widened with my grinning face. I replied to him, "really?" He replied with a "yes".

I replied with "great, can't wait to see you". And dropped my phone aside, that's when my roommate came. I did this cause our relationship is private. I don't want to announce it to the world, because to make it permanent, first stay private.

Roommate: yes Tanya, What's up!

Tanya: nothing, just tired. You say Jiya.

Jiya: nothing yaar, same, the HOD is getting on my nerves.

Tanya: hehe, what can we do?

Jiya: yeah, you were talking to someone?

Tanya: just a friend. Forget it, let's go, I'm hungry!!

Jiya: yeah, I'm famishing too! Let's go to mess.

Tanya: yeah let's go!

TIME SKIP

We came back after eating a lot of food. And now, I'm sitting on the chair, that's when I thought to ask Rohan when is he coming.

On the text

Tanya: hey Ro! When are you visiting my college?

Rohan: Next week sweetheart.

Tanya: okay!

Rohan: anything else? You free next week?

Tanya: umm, Idk, I am doing some project rn, and stuff.

Rohan: dumbo! It's your birthday next week.

Tanya: ohh, wait, lemme check the calender.

Tanya: fuck! I forgot!

Rohan: how can someone forget her own birthday? Are you stressing too much?

Tanya: no no, it's only because of the works!

Rohan: okay, but take some rest too, you had dinner?

Tanya: yeah, did you?

Rohan: yes.

Tanya: btw, you're visiting on my birthday, what gift will you give me?

Rohan: umm, I've a surprise planned for you. A good one.

Tanya: really? What is it?

Rohan: I said it's a Surprise. You have to wait till your birthday.

Tanya: okay, I'll wait.

Rohan: btw, what's your hostel block?

Tanya: Block G-12.

Rohan: cool.
