A Few Days Later

Rohan: Tanya, I already met your parents, and I think it's time, to introduce you to my parents.

Tanya: Really? I would love to meet them, afterall, they are also my parents. And also, you are my future husband.

Rohan smiled looking at me.

Tanya: Huh! Did the ICE CUBE just blushed? Means I have effect on you.

Rohan: Yeah, Tanya effect.

6 Years Later

Now we both have graduated and have our own companies growing so well. I live in New Zealand and He lives in New Jersey. We aren't able to meet often as we are busy in our works. We sometimes cancel plans last minute because of urgency in meetings or calls. Because of all this, we have been fighting a lot but our issues get resolved. And about me, I don't like to open about my personal life in my professional as I am the boss in my firm and so is he in his. Right now I was sitting on my chair in my cabin looking outside only to see the city view full of lights from the top. I heard a knock on my door, as I stood up from chair, admiring the view, left a big sigh then spoke up.

Tanya: *sighs* Come in.

The person comes in and calls me out, I knew it was none other than my secretary, Miss Shanaya. Yeah, she is my secretary.

Shanaya: Tanya Ma'am, I have checked up for your meetings and all, Tonight you have to leave for Sydney.

Tanya: Okay, Shanaya, When's the meeting?

Shanaya: At 11 am.

Tanya: Okay, book the fastest flight.

Shanaya: Okay Ma'am. I'll take my leave.

Tanya: Shanaya, wait. Lock the door.

Shanaya: yes.

Shanaya locks the door and comes to sit on the chair in front of me.

Shanaya: Any probs Tanya?

Tanya: Girl, I am just too stressed nowadays. I don't know if I am able to be a good girlfriend to Rohan. Moreover it's been 3 months we both haven't met. I just wanna meet him. I just wanna hug him like those college days- wait, I need to take this call.

Shanaya: yeah sure.

TIME SKIP
Tanya: Yeah sir, no worries, we can reschedule it some other time, or I can send some designers from my team. Thank you sir.

Cuts call

I ran towards Shanaya and hugged her.

Tanya: Shanaya, shanaya, shanaya..... I am so damn happy. 

Shanaya: What happened? 

Tanya: The project is on time off. So It'll be resumed next month, and I can look up for Rohan's project as I put that for junior designers but as of, I'll take the lead.

Shanaya: That's so cool. So...

Tanya: Oh my god, yes, book flight to New Jersey.

Shanaya: Just imagine, it's done. Now call him.

Tanya: Yeah. Thank you.

Dials...

Tanya: Hello, is this Mr. Rohan Singh?

Unknown: Sorry, May I know who's this?

Tanya: This is Tanya, Tanya Anand, Interior Designer for Mr. Singh's Project.

Unknown: Oh, Miss Anand, I'll just handle this phone to Singh Sir, I am his secretary btw.

Tanya: Oh Okay...
