Chapter 4: It doesn't make sense!

 "Oh, it is not wrong. Because we have no more beds, you two should SHARE THE BED."

"EXCUSE ME?" Hongjoong asked surprisingly. "Uh.... Isn't it weird......? Two college students... with same sex..."

"I am sorry but I have to tell you that it is real and if.... You don't want to do it then you'll have to look for suites... We can get you a refund...."

"But.... That is weird or maybe unreasonable to ask us to share the same bed!", said by Hongjoong.

Seonghwa was just standing there and didn't know what to do. Of course he knew that it was embarrassing to share a bed with a stranger, especially a stranger with same sex. But at that moment, he didn't feel reluctant. Instead, he felt that it was OK to do so...

"This doesn't make sense!" Hongjoong angrily said. "And why we have to do so? WHY OTHER STUDENTS CAN HAVE THEIR OWN BEDS BUT WE CAN'T?"

"Calm down, please. We have to do that since you guys were the last two ones to apply for dormitory housing."

"Ah... but but... I can't believe this..."

"And it is interesting that you both filled out the application form on August 9th. Look.", the teacher pointed at his computer screen. It looked like he did think it was INTERESTING.

Silence. Hongjoong was worrying about how to deal with this tricky issue. However, Seonghwa had totally different opinion....

"Maybe it is ok for us to share a bedroom....or maybe share a bed?"

Hongjoong stared at him unbelievably. "Are you crazy... We are adults... And we are all male..."

"I know", Seonghwa replied. "But if we don't do this... who is gonna quit?"

Another silence. No one answered Seonghwa's words. Seonghwa was shocked by his action, too. He didn't know why he said "yes" to this idea... Was he really crazy? Or maybe he was just too tired to defend for his right? Or maybe there were some more .... hidden reasons?

The teacher broke the silence. "You two can decide it all by yourselves. But I have to tell you that we can't offer you ANOTHER ROOM. It is late now, goodbye guys."

Hongjoong still couldn't believe this. But Seonghwa didn't want to resist it. He whispered to Hongjoong,"How about let's going back to the room?"

Hongjoong stared at him. Seonghwa knew he was unwilling to do so....

"Or maybe... you can show me your music?" Seonghwa said it sweetly.

He was shocked by his action. He didn't know why he himself would do that—He was curious about Hongjoong's work, to be honest....but he didn't know how he spoke those word in a sweet and soft tone.... just like confessing to a soulmate....

"Really? Do you really want to listen to it." Hongjoong answered. Seonghwa was sure that Hongjoong was not THAT ANGRY now.

"Yeah."

"Okay then... let's go." Hongjoong compromised.

The two then walked back to their room....
