Although Victoria Hale was powerful and successful, she was far from satisfied. She had transformed her small company into a sprawling empire, surpassing many competitors along the way. Yet, despite her relentless efforts, she remained in second place. The source of her frustration was "Black Hole Enterprises," the elusive company that held the top spot.

Victoria had always been the best, the one to beat. But not this time, and she found this unacceptable. Her obsession with discovering the identity of the CEO of Black Hole Enterprises consumed her. She was desperate to unmask the person behind her rival company, someone who had achieved what she had not.

She attempted every conceivable method to make contact, but her efforts were in vain. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't uncover who this mysterious CEO was. It was as if they were a ghost, haunting her ambitions and fueling her relentless drive to finally claim the number one position.

At Hale Enterprises:-

Victoria sat on the throne of her empire, lost in thought. How could she defeat an adversary she couldn't even identify? Her contemplation was interrupted by a knock on the door. Her personal assistant nervously asked, "Madam, may I come in?"

Victoria's eyes flashed with anger as she roared, "Come in! And I warn you for the first and last time, DON'T EVER CALL ME MADAM."

Her assistant flinched and stammered, "Y-yes, Ma—" He paused, correcting himself, "Ms. Hale." She glared at him with her piercing blue eyes, making him feel as if she could kill him with a look.

"Why are you here?" she demanded. "I hope you have some good news. Or else—"

Before she could finish, he hurriedly interjected, "I'm so, so sorry, Ms. Hale. I tried my best, but even after sending our people into that company, I couldn't find out who that person was."

Victoria's expression darkened with disappointment, but she restrained herself. "You may leave now," she said coldly.

The assistant quickly exited, leaving Victoria alone with her mounting frustration and the ever-elusive mystery that tormented her. As soon as the door clicked shut behind him, Victoria's composure shattered. In a fit of rage, she smashed a glass on her desk with her bare hand, the shards cutting deep into her skin. Blood began to trickle down her fingers, but the pain was a distant sensation compared to the turmoil within her.

Rising from her chair, she moved towards the door, her steps slow and deliberate. The sound of her office door opening drew the attention of her staff, who watched with worried expressions. They noticed the blood dripping from her hand, a stark contrast to her otherwise stoic demeanor. Her face was an unreadable mask, devoid of the fierce determination they were used to seeing.

Victoria walked down the corridor, her presence commanding silence. She headed towards the restroom, her blood-streaked hand hanging at her side. The whispers of her employees were hushed, their concern palpable but unspoken.

Entering the restroom, she approached the sink and turned on the faucet. The cold water stung as it hit her wounds, washing away the blood and revealing the deeper cuts beneath. She watched the red swirl down the drain, feeling a rare moment of vulnerability.

Grabbing a handkerchief from her pocket, she wrapped it tightly around her hand, the makeshift bandage absorbing the remaining blood. The physical pain was a distraction from the deeper wound of her defeat and sense of loss. For the first time, Victoria felt truly powerless.

She stared at her reflection in the mirror, the powerful CEO who had built an empire from nothing now faced with an enemy she couldn't see, let alone conquer. Her blue eyes, usually so full of fire, now seemed clouded with doubt. Victoria took a deep breath, stealing herself. This moment of weakness would pass, but the drive to uncover the mystery behind Black Hole Enterprises would only grow stronger.
