The Laundromat Scene

The plan

Lucy- Hey i'm here to help, the Batistas just left town

Tim- Nice to have you with us

*Lucy smiles*

Tim- Detective Angela Lopez will be going in as our eyes, show everyone what you're wearing.

Angela- don't shoot the homeless lady pushing a stroller full of trash *she bows* thank you.

Tim- Celina, you stick with Aaron during the entire OP, officer Chen and I will be parked out front in case of an emergency

(They all get into their positions and wait until the suspects arrive)

Tim- I took your advice *he looks over at Lucy* Went to therapy

Lucy- oh? How did it go?

Tim- well my therapist turned out to be a blackmailing psychopath

Lucy- you know that's not normal. Don't let one bad experience tarnish the whole profession

Tim- wanna know the irony?

Lucy- yeah

Tim- she was a good therapist, opened doors to things i didn't know I had in me. And now recordings of all those confessions are awaiting FBI investigation.

Lucy- i'm sorry... did you reveal anything about me?

Tim- *looks at her guilty* I believe the term is used was "freak in the sheets"

Lucy- you're the worst

*over the radio*

Angela- Black SUV, 4 personnel black hoodies, grey pants, indents in their shirts could be concealing weapons, 15 yards

Tim- Everyone move in but stay hidden, don't move until we see a weapon

Angela- They're moving in, 10 yards. Wait! one of them stopped they're making a phone call

*Another car comes and blocks the back door*

Tim- they just blocked the back door. We're going after the guy

Angela- They're 10 seconds out, no weapons visible, wait there's kids in the crossfire! GUN!

(Angela and the men exchange shots, Angela lands a shot in the guys chest but not before he got her)

*Angela feels a sharp pain in her chest, the impact throws her to the ground and out of instinct her hand moves to her chest where she can feel warm blood soaking through her shirt*

*Suspect gets into his truck and starts to drive away, Tim jumps into the back of the truck*

Lucy- Thorsen! Get this guy, tim's in the back of the truck

*Lucy goes after Tim, she pulls up next to the truck and sees Tim and the driver fighting, she puts the car into autopilot and jumps into the bed of the truck, they bring the truck to a stop and arrest the guy*

Lucy- We have to get back to the scene!

*Back at the scene, they all gather outside the back of the laundromat*

Aaron- you guys ok?

Lucy- yeah we're good

Celina- hey where's Lopez?

Tim- Shit! *they start calling out* LOPEZ!

*Lucy turns the corner of the building and sees Lopez lying on the ground surrounded by blood*

Lucy- NO!

*she runs to Angela's side*

Lucy- *over radio* Dispatch requesting an RA, Officer Down! I repeat Officer down! GSW to the chest, not conscious but breathing!

*The others rush over and start worrying, looking out for the ambulance*

Lucy- how did we not know... we were right there

Tim- I don't know..

*Bailey arrives with her team*

Bailey- what happened? *she looks at Angela* Angela?!

Lucy- GSW to the chest, i can't find an exit wound. She was undercover outside the laundromat and 3 men with guns started shooting at her, she got them but...

Bailey- We have to get her to the hospital, meet us at Shaw Memorial!

Lucy- I'm coming with you

Tim- we'll meet you there, I'll call Grey and Wesley!
