This is the second book to my story "Where are you?" if you haven't read it yet you should do so before reading this

Days have passed since Hiccup was saved by his friends from Viggo's claws. The whole day he laid on his bed feeling all of his wounds he could barely breathe and eat because of how swollen his neck was. Hiccup was very tired and slept most of the time even though he had a lot of nightmares from the time he spent on Viggo's ship.

"Hiccup are you awake?" Astrid asked as she entered the bedroom of the wounded and weekend dragon rider a weak "yes" was heard from the boy. "I know you are tired and probably want to sleep but you should try to eat something," the girl said to which Hiccup agreed Astrid helps him sit up leaning against the headboard of the bed, and hands him a bowl of soup. "let's hope I can keep it in," Hiccup said with a worried and sad look in his eyes. "I know it is hard to stay in bed when you want to fly toothless across the clouds but you need to wait until Gothi gives the okay for you to walk and later to fly," Astrid said while helping Hiccup eat. "You know how bad I want to fly but you, Gobber, my father, and Gothi tell me to stay," Hiccup said, taking another spoonful of soup.

When Astrid leaves and night came upon the village Hiccup can't help it anymore. He calls his dragon friend in pain climbs into the saddle and together they fly over the island. It didn't take long for the duo to get noticed by a Rumblehorn and his rider "HICCUP" an angry Viking yelled towards Hiccup who in shock turned around to see his father flying behind him and knowing that Hiccup couldn't fly faster than his father and landed on a sea stack. Shortly after Stoick the Vast landed next to the boy and spoke up "What were you thinking! You should be at home in bed resting!" "I know but I couldn't stay in bed knowing that Toothless won't fly when he knows I am injured in bed unable to defend myself. We both know that a dragon needs to fly every day and he will not do so without seeing me," Hiccup said, Toothless purred and the rider rubbed the head of the night fury. "Let's fly home you get back to bed and tomorrow I will ask Gothi if there is a way that you can get to the arena so that Toothless can be flown by one of the other riders" the chief suggested.
