"Who is she?" I decided to ask.

"Who?"

"The one you shared. That woman dear to you."

He stared at me.

"My wife."

I smiled. I envy that person. I envy her. I can see in this man's eyes how he loves her. she must be God's favorite daughter for she is loved by this extraordinary man.

Then we continued walking. Until I saw a house painted in white. It was quite a long walk with him. Finally, I'm home.

He knocked and the door opened.

"Mom!" a young boy yelled and embraced me.

I kissed him in the forehead.

"Hey, you accompany now your mom to her room," he said to my little lad.

My son looked at him.

"I met him in the park, son. Don't worry. He's a nice guy. He actually accompanied me on my way home," I said.

"I know..." he answered.

"Y-You know? You mean, you know him?" I asked, surprised.

But my boy just smiled.

He was smiling... Like this stranger I just met.

"I'll be leaving now..." the stranger suddenly said.

"Where are you going?" my young one asked.

He looked me in the eyes. He painted a smile again and I did the same. We're strangers to each other but he never fails to give me one.

I hope to see him again – on that same place where we first met.

We first met. My heart skipped a beat. It feels that we have met a very long time ago - in that park, on an evening.

"Where are you going?" my son asked him again.

He sighed.

"Have we met before?" I suddenly asked him.

He just looked at me.

"You think so?" he asked.

"I'm... I'm not sure but I got a feeling... Never mind! I'm sorry. It was a mistake."

He smiled.

"No problem. So, I'll be leaving now."

"To where?" my son asked.

And I don't understand my boy why he has to keep on asking the man he doesn't know.

He knelt and tapped my son.

Then he whispered, "To the hospital. I'll check on her Alzheimer."

I did not understand what were the words but I felt something.

Then he stood up and he gave me a hug. And my world turned upside down. I just wanted to hug him, too.

"I promise to get you out of here..." he whispered in my ears.

What was that for???

"Be a good boy, young man! Bye!"

"Okay, dad. Take care."

And the door was closed with a bang.
