Tap Tap Tap...

"I'm so bored..." Nico whined, throwing half of her body across the table, arms stretched out. "Why don't you go practice with Honoka and the rest, they probably need you upstairs." Maki answered, turning a page of her book. "Nico Nico Nii~! The universe's number one idol needs to rest! Nico~!" Nico did her signature pose. Maki just sighed, seemingly irritated by the midget's antics.

Nico continued tapping her feet in boredom, unsure of what to do. "Stop tapping your feet, it's quite loud." Maki once again remarked, thumbing another page of the book. "Hey! It's not like I want to do it! I'm just too bored to go out and practice." Nico argued, banging her head on the table. "Then stop whining." Maki bantered back, ending the arguement.

Maki continued reading her book, surprisingly, she too was bored. But of course, she wouldn't tell her senior that, she just let the silence surround around the clubroom. On the other hand, Nico was still busy whining quietly to herself, quiet enough for not Maki to hear. But she quite enjoyed the first year's presence, of course she wouldn't tell her that.

Ah, the Tsunderes. What will happen if they do not know how to convey each other's feelings?

Maki once again flipped onto the last page of the book, and her purple eyes scanned across the writings. But on the other side, Nico found herself staring onto the redhead's eyes, slowly being captivated and mesmerized. 'What's with those eyes? It seems like I've been pulled closer.."
Nico thought, subconsciously leaning closer to the other side to get a better angle on the clueless redhead's eyes.

'...the end..' Maki finished the last part of the book. Satisfied with the light-novel she just read, she thought back on the plot she just saw moments ago.
'A happy ending...huh?...Those only exist in stories, but why is there something inside me that doesn't feel right?' Maki wandered off. She closed the book with one hand and set it aside, she soon started twirling with a strand of her hair.

Nico finally recognized that she wasn't halfway across the table and stopped leaning forward, sitting down quietly, making sure not to disturb the first-year. She just went back to stare at Maki's eyes. After minutes of staring, Nico finally spoke, "Did anyone ever told you that you have beautiful blue eyes?" "They're purple" Maki remarked, still playing with her hair, but nonetheless, she blushed at the statement. Well, a bit.

After realizing what she had said and the younger girl's correction, she tried to cover up her mistake. "I-I know that! N-Nico is too s-smart for that mistake!" Well at least she tried. "Don't try and cover up your mistake, I-idiot." Maki also tried bantering, but ended up blushing at the statement Nico just said.

Okay, maybe these two tsun-tsuns need some help, but it seems like the world's not on their side. 'Cause right now the two of them are caught up in a painful, awkward silence. But somewhere upstairs, a delusional conversation was being held.

"Are they going to be okay, nyaa~?" Rin asked, referring to the two tsunderes downstairs at the clubroom. "If that's what the cards are telling me, then they would be. Besides, they're oblivious to their own feelings. They just needed a time to express." Nozomi explained, making sure to not surprise the other members. "Nozomi, I can't believe you're still up to this until now, just who are you?" Eli pinched the bridge of her nose in exasperation.

"The person you loved, Elicchi." Nozomi finished, giving a sly smirk to the blonde. On the other side, a certain bluenette is already on the verge of fainting by the seniors' actions. "No! Umi-chan don't leave me! I love you!" Honoka cried, holding the poor bluenette in her arms. Because of the bold confession, Umi gave up, and fainted.

The blonde placed her hand on her forehead, unsure of what to do about the ruckus. "Why don't we go downstairs and listen? Maybe it would work." Eli suggested, making Nozomi tilt her head in confusion. "Nope Elicchi, we should just let them be." Although surprised by the remark Nozomi made, she agreed with the purplehead. 'Good luck, Nico'

Back to the clubroom, the two idols were arguing about a certain topic.

"Why are you always staring at me!" A flustered Maki scolded, glaring at the midget. "You're always looking at ME too aren't you?!" Nico answered back, a slight blush formed across her face. "N-No I'm not! I felt that YOU were looking at me so looked at you!" The redhead fought back, her arms folded across her chest. "See? So YOU WERE looking!" Nico yammered, before softening up.

"But what if I said that I like it if you look at me.." Maki mumbled under her breath, but wasn't soft enough for the other to not hear. Nico was completely speechless, unable to think. "H-huh? Y-You liked it?" The pig-tailed girl asked, finally found her voice.

Maki just gulped, unable to take back the words she just said. "N-No it's not like tha- Hey! Stop...crushing..me!" The redhead exclaimed, while the older girl pounced on her for a bone-crushing embrace. "No I won't! Not until you stop denying your feelings!" Nico wanted the truth, the one and only truth.

"Okay! Okay! Just..Stop!" Maki felt the embrace loosen up, and breathed heavily for air. After a few moments of struggling, the first-year finally regained her composure. The third-year is now sitting beside Maki, her chair turned to face the younger one.

"I, um.. Feeling strange about you lately and uh,.. it feels like I'm zapped by a taser whenever I'm with you...ah, and of course, I understand if you don't feel the same, it's just a feeling anyway... Haha.." Maki nervously explained, caught up in an emotional wreck.

"It's okay Nico, I underst- Hey! Stop that! I.. can't.. breath...!" The first year was once again cut off by Nico who gave her another bone crushing hug. Maki struggled to let go, but the midget was surprisingly strong.

"No! Don't leave! I felt the same Maki! Please don't say that I don't like you! Because I always DID love you!" Nico explained while yelling, as if she wanted the whole world to know.

The first-year now stopped resisting, and recalled everything that happened. 'Arguement, Conclusions, Confessions..' she smiled, finally finding where

'Maybe I was wrong all along, I think happy endings do exist..'
