"Lake, Will's here!" Dad hollers from the front door, and I let out a soft squeal of excitement as I run from my bedroom, down the stairs to the front door, and slam into William's muscular body.

"Well, hello to you, baby," William chuckles, wrapping his muscular arms around my waist, and pulling me into him tightly with a wide grin. "How have you been today?"

"I've been good, but I'm better now that you're here," I chirp, leaning my head upwards to give him a soft kiss on the lips with a bright smile. "How was your day?"

"Long and boring, but much better now that I'm here," he replies with a soft smile down at me.

Pouting at him as we walk into the living room to sit on the couch; "Why was your day long and boring? I don't like that you had a day like that."

William smiles fondly at me, reaching over to grip me by the hips to pull me to sit on his lap, sideways, and I happily snuggle into his chest; "My day was long and boring because I was sitting in classes, and you weren't there."

Blushing darkly at his comment, I duck my face into the warm skin of his neck to hide my embarrassment, letting out a whiny 'stop.' William lightly laughs as he gently squeezes me while giving me a kiss on top of my head.

"My sweet boy, you are such a treasure," he murmurs into my hair, and gives me another kiss on the top of my head.

"Nope, that would be you," I murmur against his neck with a gentle squeeze of my arms. "You waited until I was of legal age before making your feelings for me known. That's a treasure, not me."

"I would have waited forever for you, my sweet Lake," he murmurs, his lips still against my hair. "I can't picture my future without you and me together in a relationship. You make my life bright, like a sunshine filled day, and I swear you're my oxygen that I need to survive. You're my gold, my treasure."

I swear if he keeps speaking these sweet words, my entire body is going to go thermonuclear as my body burns all the way to the tips of my ears, and the top of my head.

"What are we doing tonight, love?" I ask William as we walk into the living room, and sit on the couch with me on his lap, sitting sideways.

"Well, I'd been thinking we could go on a date?" he replies with a grin before kissing my cheek. "I'm thinking about dinner and going go-karting?"

My eyes light up in excitement, and I squeak out; "Really? Could we, please? Dinner and go-karting sounds fun!"

William lowly chuckles with a nod of his head; "We sure can, baby boy. How about you go get ready, and I'll let your dad know."

Eagerly nodding, I lean my face over to give him a deep kiss on the lips before scurrying off his lap, and up the steps to my bedroom. I can hear William laughing behind me, and I can only imagine his face while he shakes his head at me.

Fifteen minutes later, I'm done showering, rubbing lavender scented lotion into my skin, combing my hair, brushing my teeth, and getting dressed in a pair of black, ripped skinny jeans, black ankle socks, black and white Converses, and a baby blue colored, long sleeve shirt. Hurrying down stairs, I find dad, William, Orian, Vincent, and Reid in the kitchen, sitting around the table, and all of them have glasses in front of them. They stop talking as soon as I step into the room, and all of them focus on me, and I blush from the sudden attention, and look down at my feet as I stand next to the counter.

"You look really nice, Lake," Orian compliments dad, Vincent, and Reid agreeing with him, and my blush darkens at their compliments.

"Thank you," I murmur, still looking down, feeling weird at their attention because I'm still not comfortable with a lot of attention or compliments.

I hear footsteps that sound like William's, and this is confirmed when the tips of his white Converse are toe-to-toe with mine. Peeking up at him through my eyelashes, and I can't help but return the bright smile he's giving me.

"You do look beautiful, baby boy," William murmurs, reaching his right hand up to cup my cheek, and lifting my face up to meet his, so he can lean his head down to give me a soft kiss.

"Thank you, William, you look really handsome," I reply shyly.

William's dressed in a pair of dark blue jeans that hug his muscular legs nicely, a short sleeved white t-shirt, a pair of white ankle socks, and his white Converse. His hair is freshly cut short, and his striking hazel eyes pop against the bright white shirt.

"Thank you, Lake," he murmurs, dropping his hand from my face to hold my hip gently. "Shall we head out?"

Nodding, I hold my hand out toward him which he takes it in his warmer, and larger hand, and leads me toward the front door. I tell my brothers and dad a quick 'goodbye,' and 'see you later!' as we reach the door.

Like the sweet person he is, William opens the passenger side door of his truck for me, and once I'm settled in the seat, he shuts the door. He walks around the hood of his truck to the driver's side, and settles himself in the seat, and buckles himself in before starting the engine, and backing out of the driveway, and driving us toward town.

"What kind of food are you in the mood for?" he questions as he holds the steering wheel with his left hand, and places his right hand on my thigh.

Before I realize what I'm saying, I blurt out confidently; "Can I have you for dessert?"

William chokes on his spit, and I snap my attention toward him to make sure he's okay, and he is as he loudly laughs; "Oh, you're gonna keep me on my toes! How about we have Italian, and if you want me for dessert later, that's fine by me."
