Mayank stirred from his slumber and found himself still in the room where they had planned to spend the night. He sat up and rubbed his eyes, trying to make sense of his surroundings. As he looked around, he couldn't help but wonder.

"Where is everyone? Have they all left already? Or are they still in the house somewhere? Maybe they're playing a prank on me. But that seems unlikely," he pondered.
Mayank's mind raced with various thoughts and possibilities as he tried to figure out what had happened to his friends.

He began searching the room for his phone, hoping to check the time and get a better sense of his surroundings.

"Dammit, where did I leave my phone? I swear I had it on me last night," he muttered to himself.

Mayank shouted out into the silent room, his voice echoing off the walls. "Anyone here? Abhi, are you here?"

He waited for a moment, hoping to hear a reply or some signs of movement. But all he was met with was more silence.

Mayank stood up and walked towards the switch, but to his surprise, the light didn't turn on. He flipped the switch a few times, hoping it was just a malfunction. But the room remained dark. Frustrated, he ran his fingers through his hair, wondering if there was a power outage.

Mayank sighed in frustration as he realized that the lack of power meant that everyone would likely be downstairs.
"So I suppose everyone must be downstairs then," he muttered to himself. With a mixture of curiosity and apprehension, he made his way towards the door, ready to face whatever awaited him downstairs.

He felt a wave of panic wash over him as he opened the door and was met with a wall of pitch-black darkness. He quickly closed the door, his heart racing with fear.
"What the hell is going on here? Why is it so dark? Where did everyone go?" he muttered to himself, trying to make sense of the eerie situation.

Mayank made his way back to the bed and began searching for his phone once again. He checked under the pillows and sheets, hoping it had somehow ended up there. But after a few minutes of searching, he still hadn't found his phone.

Mayank found a phone on the bedside table, but as he picked it up, he realized it wasn't his. It was Abhishek's phone. His mind raced with questions as he held the phone in his hands. "Why is this here? Where is Abhishek? "

He couldn't help but smile as he saw the wallpaper on Abhishek's phone - a photo of the moment he had proposed to him. It was a precious memory, captured in time, that warmed his heart. But as he gazed at the picture, he was suddenly pulled back into the reality of the situation.

"Where are you, Abhi? Are you somewhere downstairs? Are you safe and unharmed?" he wondered, his thoughts racing with worry and concern.

As Mayank noticed the time on Abhishek's phone, his eyes widened in shock. It was 3:16 am. A sense of unease washed over him, increasing his concern for Abhishek and the others' whereabouts.
"3:16 am?! How is it so early in the morning already? This doesn't make sense," he thought, his mind filled with worry.
Mayank's heart beat faster as he started to pace around the room, trying to make sense of the strange circumstances.

Mayank switched on the flashlight on Abhishek's phone and cautiously made his way towards the door. The eerie flickering of the light intensified the sense of urgency in his movements as he braced himself for whatever waited on the other side.
"Come on, Mayank. Don't panic. You can do this," he muttered to himself, trying to gather the courage to confront the unknown.

the light illuminated the hallway, Mayank saw that everything appeared normal and undisturbed. With a mix of anticipation and dread, he cautiously made his way to the corridor, his footsteps echoing on the wooden floor.
Mayank's heart raced as he shone the light further,
