The Mayhem [ A BTS Magical-Fantasy AU]

The first light of dawn crept over the horizon, casting a soft, golden glow over the ancient forest. The sky is painted with hues of pink and orange, and the morning mist clings to the ancient trees. Birds begin their morning songs, but the peace is deceptive.

Nothing can go wrong in a morning like that, can it now?

Yoongi moved swiftly through the trees, the familiar path to their palace in magical world. He hummed a song softly as he walked through the dark forest. He isn't supposed to be here right this moment. Tonight wasn't his duty but he had to come out...

Well he was called by the Auror council which controls all the Aurors in magical world and gives them jobs which is to protect both worlds from dark spirits. Yoongi and all of his brothers are the part of it since beginning. They have work hours and different duties according to their powers.

So, last night wasn't actually Yoongi's duty time. But he got an urgent call from the control room saying that some corrupts are suddenly making move towards the normal world and that place was the closest from Yoongi's place...and he was the one of the few Aurors who is free right now and sufficient for this work!

And so he had to go...yes he could definitely pass that offer to someone else, but instead he accepted....knowing very well that Jin is going to flip over him for that.

He can't blame his only hyung for worrying. Cause Yoongi has already did almost eight missions and five fights in these two weeks and he obviously needed some rest! But Yoongi just loves to push himself to the edge!

So, he sneaked out from his room and then the palace without letting anyone notice him. But he knows it fully that Jin already knows about his little adventure even though he wasn't at home that time cause of his errands last night...

But the eldest one is highly good with the protections around the house to know who is going out or getting in anytime from anywhere!

Yoongi can only hope that he will be able to live even after defying Jin and also cutting the telepathic connections with him when the eldest tried to link with him!

Well don't blame him! He was in the middle of the fight! He needed concentration, right?! Yoongi sighed deeply...no one can save him from his hyung today.

He walked faster...he can do the teleport, but he is actually drained out of the energy even to teleport now. So maybe walking is the only option.

But as soon as he entered a certain realm of the forest, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion and doubt. As the protector of this magical realm, he had patrolled these lands countless times, but today felt different. An unsettling chill lingered in the air, and the birds' morning songs were eerily absent.

Suddenly, a dark shadow flickered at the edge of his vision. Yoongi stopped, his senses heightened. The forest, usually brimming with life, seemed to hold its breath.

Yoongi sighed and shook his head tiredly, "You got to be kidding me now." He muttered under his breathe.

And just then, from the depths of the shadows, they emerged—corrupted black spirits, their forms twisting and writhing like living smoke. Their eyes glowed with a malevolent red, and they moved with an unnatural, predatory grace.

Are you freaking serious? Two fights in between just four hours?

Yoongi stood lazily, "Leave my path, idiots...I'm not in mood right now." He said calmly.

The spirits hiss, their voices like nails on a chalkboard. So irritating!

Spirit Leader: Go away... you shall not pass."

Yoongi (scoffing, with a smirk): "Really? Can't a guy just head home in peace for once?"

Spirit Leader: This forest belongs to the darkness now." He hissed again.

Yoongi: "Oh, I'm sorry, did you miss the memo? This forest is under my protection. Now, if you'll excuse me..."

He snaps his fingers, and flames burst to life in his palms. The fire dances, reflecting in his eyes as he glares at the spirits.

Spirit 1: "Fire won't save you, you filthy Auror."

Yoongi (grinning): "Who said anything about saving? I'm just here to toast some marshmallows."

With a swift motion, Yoongi hurls a fireball at the nearest spirit. The spirit shrieks as it's engulfed in flames, disintegrating into ash. The other spirits recoil but quickly regroup.

Spirit Leader: "You'll pay for that!"

Yoongi's expression hardens. He raises his hand, and a torrent of fire snakes around his body, forming a fiery barrier. The spirits charge, but Yoongi vanishes in a flash of light, reappearing behind them.

Yoongi (mockingly): "Missed me!"

He unleashes a wave of fire that sweeps through the spirits, scorching the ground. The corrupted beings wail in agony, their forms flickering more violently.

Spirit 2: "You cannot defeat us all!"

Yoongi (raising an eyebrow): "Wanna bet?"

With a series of rapid teleportation, Yoongi dodges the spirits' attacks, each time retaliating with a precise burst of flame. The forest glows with the fiery light of battle, the dawn now a backdrop to the epic confrontation.

Yoongi (landing gracefully after a teleport): "You guys never learn, do you? This forest, these people... they're under my protection. And I don't take kindly to intruders."

The spirits, now fewer in number, circle around Yoongi, their movements more desperate. The Spirit Leader, visibly weakened but defiant, lunges at Yoongi with a final, desperate attack.

Yoongi: "Well yeah! Nice try...But-"

In an instant, Yoongi's entire body ignites, becoming a living inferno. He grabs the Spirit Leader with a flaming hand, the heat intense enough to burn even spectral flesh. The spirit lets out a final, earsplitting scream before dissolving into nothingness.

The remaining spirits, witnessing their leader's demise, scatter and dissipate into the dawn light. The forest falls silent once more, the only sound the crackling of fading embers.

Yoongi (dusting off his hands): "Weak....huh! And that's how you handle a morning workout."

He takes a deep breath, the flames around him extinguishing. He checked his hands....they are bruised already!

Uh oh...! Now Jin hyung is definitely gonna eat me alive!
