Trigger warnings: Neglect of headspace, tantrums
It has been about 2 weeks since Jungwon slipped into his headspace. and he wasn't worried about it. Usually he would be, but this week was so packed with events that he didn't even have time to think.
"Sweetheart, wake up." Niki said. "I'm not little." Jungwon groaned.
Niki shrugged it off and helped the other get out of bed.
The pair got ready for the day and decided to eat a quick breakfast. Niki decided to talk with his friend about not slipping. Niki knew he hadn't slipped in a while so he wanted to ask the reason.
"Hey, Won?"
"What's up?" He responded.
"You haven't slipped in a whil-" Niki was cut off.
"I'm not slipping Niki, end of discussion! We have so much to do today! First we have a breakfast show, then we have dance practice for 3 hours, then we have to film 4 interviews today!" Jungwon yelled.
"Jungwon. I know you're not yelling at me."
"The hell I am yelling at you! You're always trying to make me slip, it's like you're using it against me!" Jungwon slid his blue and white ceramic cereal bowl on the floor. Shards of clay were now scattered everywhere.
Jungwon flinched as he regretted what he said and did. He just stood there. Looking at the milk, cheerios, and clay shards on the floor.
Niki glared at Jungwon.
"Ma.. Mama..." He whimpered as he still stared at the mess on the floor. His eyes filled with tears as he just stared.
His bottom lip quivered and let the tears fall on his cheeks.
Niki walked to him and scooped the little up. "Let it out, honey. Just cry it all out."
The words made the little sob.
"There we go, baby."
"My baby. My beautiful baby."
Niki sat down with the little in his arms, rocking him back and forth and patting his back.
Jungwon gripped the back of Niki's shirt tightly, breath bitching and coughing a bit.
Niki's soothing tactics calmed the little down. "Mama.. I done." He mumbled.
"All done?" The baby nodded.
"Let's go take a nap, hm?"
