The digital clock, perched on the opposite side of the dimly lit room, displayed the time as 3:07 A.M.
Wooyoung awoke to find himself surrounded by complete darkness, and the absence of anyone cuddling him was keenly felt.
So what did he do?
His piercing scream echoed through the night, jolting Yunho, Hongjoong, and Seonghwa awake.
So now Seonghwa was consoling young Hongjoong, doing his best to soothe his tears and calm him down.
"Ma-ma, bedtime," Hongjoong mumbled, sniffling.
"You're ready for bedtime again?"
Hongjoong nodded slowly, a pacifier being slipped between his lips as he nestled into Seonghwa's embrace, savoring the warmth and comfort as they made their way back to their room.
Yunho found himself sitting on the couch, with Wooyoung peacefully asleep and cuddled up on top of him.
Finally, he was asleep.
Yunho carefully stood up with Wooyoung in his grasp.
Of course after being in a position for some time and then feel that he was being moved, he woke up a bit.
But that was nothing a few back rubs and a pacifier couldn't fix.
