The next day, Liam went over to his locker and waited for Kaleb. But suddenly, some bullies came over to Liam. "Hey freak!" Bully one yelled.
"Um...are you talking to me?" Liam asked confused.
"Yes, you freak! Who else would we be talking about!?!" Bully two said. Just then the bullies started to hurt Liam badly. Then Kaleb walked through the door and stared at Liam.
"Wtf is going on?!" Kaleb yelled at the bullies and ran over.
"Look! The loner cares for the freak!" One of the bullies yelled and they all laughed.
"Get away from him or you're going to regret it..." Kaleb said in a mad and annoyed tone. The bullies rolled their eyes.
"What are you going to do about it, loner boy..." One of the bullies yelled. Just then, Kaleb ran in front of Liam and turned towards Liam and helped him off the floor. Liam hugged Kaleb tightly and put his head on Kaleb's shoulder. Kaleb started to comfort Liam by kissing his head.
"It's okay...calm down..." Kaleb whispered into Liam's ear soothingly. Kaleb wiped the tears off Liam's face. The bullies were shocked.
"You guys are dating?!?!" One of the bullies yelled in surprise. Kaleb shook his head.
"No, were not...but we might...were still thinking about it..." Kaleb replied. "C'mon Liam, let's go...I'll take you to the nurse's office. Kaleb took Liam took the nurse's office and told the nurse what happened. After the nurse fixed up Liam, Kaleb took Liam to class, and they sat down next to each other.
