The recruits are watching a comedy now. Medix is trying to understand the jokes, but looks confused. The other recruits are laughing heartily.
HOTSHOT: (laughing) Did you see that? Classic!
WHIRL: (giggling) This is the best!
Medix, still confused, looks at the screen then back at the recruits. He tries to laugh along but it's clear he doesn't get the jokes. The recruits' phones beep simultaneously. They all check their phones, scrolling through messages.
HOIST: (distracted) Hey, did you see this meme?
WEDGE: (laughing) That's hilarious!
Medix notices a notification pop up on the screen. It's a missing poster with his picture on it. Medix's optics widen in shock and he glances nervously at the recruits, who are too engrossed in their phones to notice.
MEDIX: (whispering to himself) Why is my picture on that poster?
Medix tries to remain calm, shifting uneasily in his seat. He looks around, feeling increasingly paranoid. The comedy movie continues to play, the recruits still chuckling.
MEDIX: (forcing a smile) Everything is fine. Just... a joke. Yes, a joke.
He tries to ignore the poster, but it keeps flashing in his mind. He clutches his servos together, trying to suppress his fear.
HOTSHOT: (noticing Medix's discomfort) Hey, Medix, you okay?
MEDIX: (nervously) Yes, yes, I'm fine. Just... need to step out for a moment.
WHIRL: (concerned) Are you sure?
MEDIX: (quickly) Positive. Just need some air.
Medix stands and quickly exits the common room. The recruits exchange puzzled looks but return to their phones and the movie.
INT. RESCUE BOTS ACADEMY - HALLWAY - NIGHT
Medix leans against the wall, trying to steady his breathing. He checks the academy's internal systems to see if the missing poster was an error or a prank. Nothing seems out of place.
MEDIX: (to himself) What is going on?
Medix decides to investigate further, determined to find the source of the poster. He reenters the common room, putting on a brave face.
INT. RESCUE BOTS ACADEMY - COMMON ROOM - NIGHT
The recruits are still watching the comedy, but they look up as Medix reenters.
HOTSHOT: Feeling better?
MEDIX: (smiling weakly) Yes, much better. Let's enjoy the rest of the movie.
Medix sits down, still uneasy but more determined to solve the mystery. The recruits continue watching the comedy, unaware of Medix's inner turmoil.
