Valeria's POV

A month later

"Come on, Alex. We're about to leave," I said, grabbing his suitcase.

Alex and I are going on a business trip with Gio. She told me it would be okay if Avery came along as well, but Avery felt like something was wrong. Because Gio quite frankly doesn't seem to care for Avery, it was very odd of her to invite her.

Avery and I did talk about me going home with Gio, but it just ended in us having angry sex.

"Mommy, what about my favorite shoes?" Alex whined.

"They're in the suitcase, baby. We have to go, or we're going to be late, and you know how Daddy gets when we're not on time," I said, getting a flashback of my first time being late.

I heard a knock on the door. Knowing it was Gio, I didn't answer. Part of me kind of wanted her to punish me. She knocked again, and I opened it.

"What's taking you so long? I've been waiting on y'all for almost ten minutes, Valeria," Gio said, shaking her head.

Mep. Should've made you wait longer.

"Well, it's not my fault. Alex went back up to get his favorite toy car," I said, shrugging.

"You'll have to deal with the consequences when we get to the hotel," Gio said, going upstairs to get our son.

I'm ready.

I walked out of the house and got into the backseat of the SUV. Soon after, Gio came out along with my son. Gio put the suitcases in the trunk while Alex climbed into the back of the truck.

"Alex, how do you feel meeting new friends while Mommy and I run some errands?" Gio asked, getting into the backseat with us.

"I love making new friends!" Alex said excitedly.

"Mm, Val, I think you know where we're going," Gio said, smirking.

I don't, but okay.

"No, I don't think I do," I looked at her confused.

"Whatever," Gio said, rolling her eyes.

"Don't you dare take it back out," Gio said, putting the vibrator back into my private area.

Gio went out of the fitting room and sat down by the door. I finished trying on my last dress and came out. We're currently at one of the malls Gio owns, and Gio made me put a vibrator in for being late. She turned it on every time I went to check out.
