Uncertain feelings (BoruMitsu)

Chapter 3 : Mix

"You two are one and a half hour late." The older Snake said, sitting on the couch with a steaming cup of tea in his hand. "Mind telling us where you two have been?" Log joined, eyes focused on the Magenta scarf wrapped in Mitsuki's neck. The red haired just smiled and told Mitsuki to go and wash himself before going to bed, and as always, he would do it.

Karin sit comfortably at the couch where the others are waiting for an answer. Her eyes were bright as she took the bag next to her. She then pulled out some pictures she took earlier.

"I know that you'll be happy seeing this, Lord Orochimaru." She said then looked at Log and Suigetsu, "But I don't know about them." Karin trailed off and sat again, legs crossing as she leaned.

Orochimaru looked carefully at the pictures, the blonde boy had the Magenta scarf earlier and last year. Did Mitsuki befriend the Hokage's son, Boruto Uzumaki? Thats so fast, if ever, they just met and Mitsuki wouldn't talk with anyone he simply doesn't know.

"Naruto's son called Mitsuki cute, if you're wondering." Karin said as she looked away, Log and Suigetsu stared at her for a while. "I mean, he remembered every single feature of Mitsuki in one look."

"WHAT!?" Log and Suigetsu simultaneously yelled, they looked at each other but looked back at Karin who's laughing. "What? What is there to be baffled about?" Orochimaru said, then he took a sip of his tea. "Let Karin explain everything, I'm still not sure how they met each other." Karin took a deep breath, then winked at the baffled two.

"We decided to buy some ornaments, so we went to the store. Mitsuki said that he was feeling nervous, he said it feels like someone was watching him. And there it was, he saw Naruto's son staring at him. When the boy looked away because his father asked him a question, Mitsuki alarmed me about it. I just told him to take the box behind the boy, on the upper storage. He actually hesitated at first-"

"You told him to get closer to the boy making him nervous??" Suigetsu asked, cutting off Karin. Log shook his head in disbelief. Orochimaru only glared at the two and told Karin, "Continue."

"So as I was saying, he hesitated. I think the upper layer was high since he can't reach it, but the blonde insisted on taking it for him. When Mitsuki smiled and said 'thank you', he just replied, 'You're really cute!'. He also offered to carry the box to wherever Mitsuki would go."

The two was still baffled, why the hell would Karin let Mitsuki feel nervous. If they are with him, she would go crazy and lecture them to never make him feel nervous, but she never lectured the blonde? How is that fair?

"Interesting. Then, Naruto was there, too?" The older Snake said before putting the picture on the table. There was still something they are curious about. What about the scarf?

"Yes, he actually asked me if Mitsuki was the clone you were creating. I just nodded.."
She said, her voice lowering as she finish. "I'm confident they would believe it. I told him that we were only there to buy some ornaments and he believed it, I mean what else is there to believe. Plus, Sakura and her daughter came at the last minute. She wasn't bothered by Mitsuki, I think she though Mitsuki looked innocent or so."

"And the scarf?" Log asked, this time, he didn't got silenced by his parent. "We were actually about to leave when Naruto's son came after us. He just wrapped the scarf around Mitsuki then hugged him. It was really cute. Oh, the white snake keychain that Mitsuki was so eager to get, do you remember it?"

"The small one?" Suigetsu asked, she nodded, "Yeah, he was begging me to get it for him." A chuckle following after he answered. "He gave it to Boruto."

"WHAT THE HELL!? I ALMOST DIED WHEN I ROBBED IT!"

"You robbed it..? I thought he worked and trained hard to get it!?"
