Chapter 26

She made her way downstairs and into the kitchen. She couldn't help, but feel as if someone was watching her making her look around before looking outside. Nothing.

"Good morning, little one." She hears behind her and turns to see Rebekah walking in with an IPad on her hand as she scrolls through it. Possibly online shopping for furniture since she did say the house is quite dull for her taste.

"Good morning, Auntie Beks."
"You alright? You seem rather uneasy." Rebekah look at her seeing the look and hearing her heart beating faster than normal.

"Yeah, just...feels like someone is watching me." She tells her in a lower voice as Rebekah looks over her at the moment in silence. Her eyes scanning the trees to see any movements. Again, nothing.

"You sure it's not animals love?"
"To be honest, no clue." She shrugs and Rebekah nodded her head a bit.

"I'm sure it will be fine, dear. Just make some cereal and get ready for school. Alright?"
"Of course." She smiles and Rebekah walks up to her kissing her head before walking off and towards the parlor room.

Rose made herself a bowl of cereal and ate her breakfast. By the time she finished and went to her room, Derek had already left through her window. She didn't think much as she closed her window and curtains before getting ready for school.

-1 hour later-

"Stay safe the both of you." Rebekah tells Isaac and Rose as they smiled and nodded before heading into the building.

"You feeling okay?"
"Yeah. Why?"
"Well, the fact that you-" He stops and turns around to see if Rebekah had already left before turning his attention back at her.

"The fact that your hand brought out this blinding light and passing out. It...I got very worried about you."
"I'm fine, Isaac. It's just been awhile ever since I have used my magic."
"How long?"
"Honestly?"
"Yeah."
"Since I was a baby."
"Wow." He looks bewildered as Rose shook her head.

"And...you haven't used it since? Not even practicing it?"
"No. I haven't. My dad doesn't want me to despite the disagreement he and Bonnie had about it."
"Oh, who did you use it against?"
"I...don't really remember. What my dad told me was that I used it on an evil monster that tried to hurt them and take me away."
"Holy shit and now you used it again."
"Yep. I feel lighter though."
"What do you mean?"
"Well...you know how you get so stressed of things and this weight takes over your body and then when you take a bath or do something to get rid of that stress. Everything feels lifted." Rose explains to him and he nodded his head. The bell rang as they both parted ways to go to class. Scott frowning at the sight before shaking his head as Stiles pats his shoulder.

"I think it's time for you to move on buddy. Clearly, you are loosing to Isaac."
"Shut up."
"I'm serious. Why not date Allison? She has a crush on you for christ sake." Stiles suggested him as they walk towards class.

After a couple of classes, the lunch bell rang as everyone came to the cafeteria. Rose made her way there only to get yanked into a classroom as she turns to see Derek.

"Derek, what the hell?"
"What did you do last night?"
"What? What are you talking about?"
"Look, whatever had happened last night- you need to tell me right now."
"Well for one, I don't know what you're talking about."
"Vampires came to beacon hills. They are now inside of this school as we speak."
"How do you know that?"
"Cause I smell death. A lot." He stated staring at her and her eyes move away before realizing.

"Oh god. No...that's...it's like a moth to a Flame."
"Rose."
"I...My magic attracted the vampires. It's gonna attract more. Oh God My friends! The others!" She gasped and Derek held her in his arms as she began to have a panic attack. Her heart quickened as he hushes her.

"Shhhh, hey hey. Calm down." He tells her gently as she tries her best to breathe.

"Look at me. Everything is gonna be alright. We'll figure it out."
"But the others."
"Let's focus on the vampires. Right now, they could be anywhere. It's a good thing that I saged this room so that they don't hear us."
"How did you-"
"What? After living in your house for a couple of weeks, you think I won't observe you guys?" He grins and she rolls her eyes, but couldn't help as she smiles shaking her head.

"Don't tell anyone about this. Not even your family."
"But they need to know the information. How we keep getting followed wherever we go. I was radiating built up magic and I released half of it in this school that is probably filled with vampires." She points out as Derek sighs. He doesn't know much about vampires, but she was right.

"Fine. Who do you think would be less angry with you."
"Um, my Aunt Beks and Uncle Kol. My dad...will he very overprotective of me especially since..."
"Since what?"
"He and I are bonded."
"Bonded?"
"Long story, but not enough time cause right now. I don't know how long this sage will hold." She takes out her phone and dialed her Aunt's number.

"Little one, what is it?" Rebekah answers.

"Hey, Aunt Beks. Is dad with you?"
"Yes, he is. We're working at the moment."
"Oh." She looks at Derek shrugs and tilts his head slightly indicating that they have no choice.

"Is everything alright, love?" Niklaus's voice came into the line as Rose sigh softly knowing she can't lie to her father.

"I...I have to tell you guys something very important."
"What is it?"
"Well." Before she could start, the door of the classroom burst open as both Derek and Rose look over. Vampires flood the classroom as Derek and Rose backed away.

"Rose?"
"Dad. Come to school." Rose tells him through the phone, her hand shaking as her heart was beating faster. Derek stood in front of Rose protectively as the female vampire took a step forward.

"Back off, Mutt. We only want the girl."
"No can do, lady."
"I guess you want to die then. That's fine. There's more of us and only two of you. It means that you are alone."
"You are forgetting that I'm a werewolf. Which also means. I'm not alone." Derek's face changes before letting out a loud roar as it rumbles through the halls. Isaac and Scott heard the roar as they looked at each other before running towards the sound immediately causing Stiles, Allison, Lydia, and Jackson to see them bolt out the classroom. Stiles despite having Lydia sitting on their table, didn't waste anytime, but ran after them as did Allison. Lydia went to stand up when Jackson held her arm.

"Where are you going?"
"Going to see where they're going."
"Why? We are already sitting on their table." Jackson says and Lydia looks at him before looking at door. Not even a second thought, she bolted out the door much to Jackson's dismay.
