Argenti POV

"It's dark... I hate the dark. Why'd he tie me up again? Something about my bounty? I don't see why knocking me out was necessary. How did he even sneak up on me? Oh right I was trying to get coffee. How troublesome. Sneaking up on an undefended opponent is quite rude. And I was under the impression that we had a deal. How long was I out for? I can't see anything. How did I even get here? I guess it doesn't matter. How do I get out of here..." I shook my hands gently, testing out the breakability of the apparent cuffs around my wrists. "Hm... Durable and strong. Unfortunate for me. I'm assuming they're IPC handcuffs. How did he even acquire such items? By the Aeons I can't handle the dark anymore." I lift the blindfold off my head. to check my surroundings. Was I really kidnapped by a cowboy? A light peaked through the crack of my... room? Cell? Enclosure? One of the sorts. It was full of... brooms, and other various cleaning supplies. I was in a storage closet. Great. 

"Boothill? Hello? Are you there?" Surely, he wouldn't leave me here. Are we still on the astral express? Hm... "Boothill??" Suddenly muffled voices approached. It was the trailblazer and.... Boothill. It sounds like they're talking about rooms and me. Did he tell them of his plan to turn me in? I didn't even do anything wrong... Who would put a hit on me? Back to listening. 

"Yeah er- I could use a room. For at least 2-3 days, just until you find a place to drop me off. Preferably near [BLANK] if you could. Would make my job way easier." A robotic accent took over the conversation. He seriously plans to keep me restrained like this for 2 days? I'll surely break out before then. All I have to do is wait it out. "I mean sure if that's what you want. And you want to share a room with Argenti? Isn't he your 'mission' or 'goal'?" The trailblazers melodic voice came to my rescue, or so I thought, their voices becoming distant as they continued on. "Oh- uh- no... Turns out it was a different Argenti! HAHaha.. yeah *cough* I just want to get to know my new... friend" I can hear his fake smile from out here. The lies he spews infuriates me. How could someone be so arrogant? Surely someone who doesn't know happiness or love. A lonely soul taking it out on others. Shameful. "Alright if you say so...." And then their voices were gone. The silence being sharp enough to cut through air.

Maybe I can... No. No I mustn't, not for Idrila. But if it gets me out of here... If I can charm him then maybe, he'll let me free. Learn his secrets, his nightmares. I'm not a sinister being, no one is, I'm just doing what I can to survive. Aren't we all? 

- Few hours later: Argenti fell asleep in the closet he was stuffed in. The cramp, dark, uncomfortable, storage closet that he was stuffed in unwillingly. It had been around 2 hours since he last heard voices talking, unsure of whether he'd be let out sooner or later. Suddenly a noise woke him, leaving him on the verge of sleep and awareness. A light peaked through the darkness as he slowly blinked open his eyes, adjusting to the dim light. Slowly a figure approached. 

"Damn I really didn't mean to leave you here like this... I- my bad..." The thick robotic accent made it clear who this was. A hand gripped Argenti's shoulder, lifting him up gently and resting his weight against the other. "You still asleep or somethin'? Wakey wakey beautiful" Argenti shook his head slightly

"No- no I'm awake" I looked around, seeing the dark empty hallway as Boothill dragged me out of my previous location. Where are we going? He led us to an empty cabin, dropping me against the bed with a thud. "Hey that hurt you know, you could treat me with a little more respect and kindness" His face looked unwavering, and cold. How could someone be so dull? He sat down on the bed and stared at me with a look of confusion.
