Chapter SIXTY.

[SIXTY]

(Time Skip 1:35 a.m.)

Lola Randle's (POV)

We all went to bed after dinner last night, which was amazing by the way, Elena can cook just as good as Piper. I just got up to go to the bathroom and get a glass of water and as I make my way to the kitchen, I hear quiet crying coming from the guest room. Frowning I know it isn't Esme since she is sound asleep with Chloe in the nursery, so I know it is Elena crying. I new she was holding back her tears earlier, but I also have a feeling she has been holding in a lot of things she can't or wont share with those around her. I quietly go on into the kitchen and drink some water before I make some tea with honey in it. Turning the lights back off I make my way back down the hall and still hear her crying, so I lightly knock on the door. She goes quiet for a while before the door slowly opens and she peeks out, I smile lightly at her saying, "I brought you some tea sweetheart, do you mind if I come in?"

She blushes and sniffles before she nods stepping back opening the door further. Walking in I go over to the night stand and set the tea down before setting on the bed against the head board. Comfortable I look towards a still frozen Elena by the door and sigh opening my arms saying, "Come here Ele." She hesitates like before but then walks over and crawls onto the bed and falls into me. Wrapping my arms around her I lightly rub and scratch her back humming to her "Cry" by Gryffin and John Martin. She clings to me and snuggles more into me, sighing I rock her slowly as she is still crying and sniffling. I have been wanting to comfort her since Esme got hurt this afternoon, but I held back knowing Esme needed her mommy. But now Elena needs me, and I am glad I woke up so I could comfort her. Kissing the top of her head I reach for the end of her braid and start un-braiding it. She has relaxed more into me, but I know she is still awake, I am half way un-braiding her hair when I feel her move.

I slow my movements and she goes to reach for the tea, smiling I reach over and grab it for her and hand it too her. She takes and drinks small sips and I finish un-braiding her hair, done I run my fingers through it. Gently un-tangling it I lightly scratch and massage her scalp, she finishes her tea, so I set the cup back down and she relaxes back into me again. Relaxing myself I keep lightly scratching and massaging her scalp as I feel her falling more into me. I dont know what else is weighing on her mind other than Esme getting a little hurt today, but I hope she can trust us more in time an open up. For now, I and Piper will care for her and Esme the best we can.

(Time Skip Morning.)

Esme Knight's (POV)

Waking up I stretch out and yawn feeling someone next to me, rubbing my eyes I open them and look to my right seeing Chloe sound asleep. Smiling I stretch again and wince remembering my fall yesterday I groan and slowly set up. Looking around I look for a clock and find one above the changing table, seeing it is my normal time of waking up when I am big I slowly stand using the bars of the crib before slowly stepping over Chloe. She looks adorable when she sleeps, her golden-brown hair is waved out under her, and she Is sucking her paci. Smiling I go to the corner of the bed about to unlatch the side to slide down the gate when I hear a light chuckle. Jumping I look up and smile seeing Lola standing there, shaking my head I reach up my arms to be taken out of the crib and she smiles walking over.

She picks me up and I smile up at her as I snuggle into her, she pats my bottom making me blush as I am even more aware I am wet. She just smiles down at me saying, "I am assuming you are big sweetheart so if you want to change yourself I'll take you to your room." I blush, I dont think I am ready for anyone other then Len to change me when I am big, so I nod, and she just smiles and starts walking towards the guest room. Once there she sets me on my feet and opens the door whispering, "Once your finished sweetheart I'll have us some coffee and cookies in the living room." Smiling up at her I can't help but wiggle making her chuckling lightly and nod towards the door saying, "I'll see you shortly little one." Blushing I nod and she walks down the hall towards the living room, I go into the bedroom and close the door leaving it cracked. Seeing Len sound asleep I smile and blow her a kiss before doing my business, finished and in a new onesie I walk over to the door. Looking back at Len sleeping I blow her another kiss then leave the room quietly closing the door.
