Vita's POV:

"Glad to see you're doing well, brother! . ." I smile innocently, trying not to break as my brother stared daggers into me. That didn't last long as I hear a sigh come from him, indicating I was in the clear.

"I can't understand why you arrived so late, but I'm just glad you're safe nonetheless." I genuinely smile at his remark and make my way over to my brother. He opens his arms wide, and I jump into his open hug. I caused him to stumble back a bit, but he embraced it and we fell. We didn't care so much. I hadn't seen him in over two years, and the same goes for him.

"I'm glad you're here, Vita." My brother exclaimed.

"Me too, Terra. Me too!"

We stayed like that until we heard the sound of fireworks go off into the sky. But following the fireworks were these little things I couldn't quite make out. All I could tell was they had a trail of gold dust and color following along with them. Those little things mixed with the fireworks was quite a sight to behold.

"Hey, what are those little dots that follow the fireworks? Oh- look! They just spelled out the words 'Welcome to Yullably' in the gold dust!" I exclaimed. I was smiling as if there was no tomorrow and my brother was just laughing at my actions and remark. I didn't care, as I was pretty occupied watching magic happen.

"Those are fairies-"

"FAIRIES! TERRA DID YOU JUST SAY FAIRIES?! OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH! THIS IS THE BEST HOUSE EVER!" That was when my brother finally broke his character and began laughing like a hooligan as I went on rambling about how I lucked out and of the fairies.

The show had just ended and Terra was now escorting me to my new room. He also told me he had a surprise for me in the morning, but wouldn't tell me anything else. I tried to bribe him, and even a slip of the tongue, but it seemed nothing was gonna get the surprise to come out his mouth. I admitted defeat right as we arrived at what seemed to be a cave.

"Uhhh, are you expecting me to sleep in a cave? . ." I hear a light chuckle as Terra walks through the tunnel, not saying a word. Not wanting to get left behind, I follow along. After witnessing a few spider webs and a whole lot of lanterns, I saw the exit. I let out a sigh, as the fright I was feeling had washed away. But my jaw dropped when I looked at what was in front of me.

Loe and behold, a fleet of pirate ships lined the bay. It looked like something out of a film. All around was bonfires, fencing, dancing, and overall just havoc.

It was perfect.

I run over to the fencing ground, and draw a practice sword from the barrel. I smirk to my brother, who gave me a nod; giving me his approval. With that, I turn to face my opponent. A boy with ginger hair and emerald green eyes made his way to the stand.

"Why hello there, miss. Would you give me the honor of having this dance?" The male then held his sword at match. I chuckle at him and look at his face. Smiling and looking eyes with his Emerald green orbs.

"Why of course, Sir. En garde!" I smile and dash at him. He quickly reacts and manages to block me. I would say I was impressed, but he didn't see my quick turn. I held him at the match before I heard the whistle blow, signaling my win.

I lower my sword and smile a soft smile at the boy.

"You're quite good, uhh-"

"Erix Xylon. Junior & Vice Housewarden of Yullably. Well, more like Ex. Vice Housewarden, but that's not important."

I stare at the male's emerald eyes and then it clicks in my head. I quickly bow in respect to my junior.

"So sorry for being impolite and stuck up. I also apologize for taking your place as Vice Housewarden. . " I look down, embarrassed by how I acted, and how I just took someone's place without doing anything. It felt rather unfair, if I'm being honest.

Erix slightly chuckles and walks over to me, then proceeds to ruffle my head. He smiles at me, showing his dimples. "It's nothing to apologize for, Vita! Besides, we're like family here. Don't worry about my status at the school or what people say. The Yullably Dorm members are one."

"I agree with Rix. He wasn't Vice Housewarden for nothing. He's like the positive flow of energy connecting us all." Terra spoke, walking over and putting his hand on my shoulder. "I expect you to also connect us, Vita. But knowing you, you'll end up doing much more than that."

I scoff and swat his hand off my shoulder, trying to cover the slight redness that was fighting to show on my cheeks. I put the sword back in the barrel and grab my luggage. I was about to walk away before I remembered, I didn't know my way around. I turn to Terra and Erix with a smile, embarrassed smile.

"Uhhh- can one of you show me to my room. . ?" Both boys chuckle and walk towards me.

"Just follow me." Terra said as he began walking ahead with Erix by his side.

I nod and quickly grab my luggage. It was kinda annoying to pull with the rocky ground and sand, but I managed. As I look up to see where we were headed, I stop to see the boys standing in front of two giant pirate ships. I could only assume that they were the main two of the fleet. I turn my head and look at them, shocked.

"Is this where all the dorm members stay?" I question, walking onto the main deck of the shi with Terra & Erix trailing behind. "It's a pretty big ship. . how many people stay on this ship?"

Erix lets out a small chuckle before speaking. "Just one. After all, the Housewarden & Vice Housewarden are the heart of the dorm. It's only right if they get the most privacy."

"Ahh- that makes sense- wait. ." I take a moment to replay Erix's words in my head. When it finally hit me, I looked at the two, dumbfounded.

"YOU SAYING THIS WHOLE DANG SHIP IS MINE?!"

All the two boys could do was nod as I went mental over the fact that this ginormous ship was all for me. Before I could do anything- I felt a light, yet strong, presence next to my ear.

"Hello, Vita! I'm Snow-Drop! Your very own Fairy Friend! Nice to meet you!"
