He walks out and back to the kids
Lucy:we are gonna talk about you running off later
Tim:ok
Alyssa:dad im hungry
Tim:alright sweetie get your brother ill take you guys to the food trucks for lunch alright
Alyssa:come on Dylan
He runs over and stands next to his sister
Tim walks off with both the kids and go to the food truck
Alyssa:your in trouble with Lucy
Tim:don't worry about that right now it will be fine
Alyssa:promise
Tim:yes baby go get you some food okay
Alyssa:ok
A few hours later at home the kids are in there rooms and Tim and Lucy are in the kitchen
Lucy:we gonna talk about you running off today
Tim:there's nothing to talk about i went confronted her and left
Lucy:you threatened her Tim you could ruin any chance we have of getting full custody of the kids you need to get your head straight
Tim:i know ok there my kids i know the stakes

Tim:i don't need you telling me how to parent your not their mom im their parent

She walks off for the door
Tim:Luce wait i didn't mean that
Lucy:save it ill be back
She leaves and Tim stands there with his head against the back of the front door she just walked out of
Alyssa heard the door slam and walks out to check on her dad

Tim:its fine hunny go back to your room ok
A:ok
Tim calls Angela
Ang:hey
Tim:hey can you find Lucy for me i messed up and she left the house i wanna give her space but i need to know shes ok
Ang:im on it
Tim:thanks
Ang:she will come back Tim
Tim:i know
Angela hangs up and tracks Lucy down and talks to her and calms her down she texts Tim
Ang:shes gonna stay at mine tonight
Tim:ok thanks Ang
He gets dinner made for the kids
Dylan:wheres mom
Tim goes quiet something Alyssa noticed
A:she had to go to work bubba
Dylan:ok
Tim mouths thanks to Alyssa
Alyssa nods her head at him
After he gets Dylan in bed he goes to Alyssas room
Tim:you ok in here kiddo
Alyssa:im fine are you ok
Tim:im fine sweetheart you don't worry about anything ok
Alyssa:is mama gonna come back
Tim:im sure she will baby
Alyssa:im scared shes gonna leave
Tim:im not gonna let that happen i promise
Alyssa:ok i love you
Tim:i love you too get some sleep ok

He leaves her room and goes to the living room and pulls his phone out and before he can realize it he is dialing Lucys number he gets her voicemail
Tim:hey its me im sorry i didn't mean to say that earlier i love you the kids love you that makes you their mom in my book im here when your ready i love you baby
He hangs up and sits in his quiet house
Lucy looks down and sees a voice mail from Tim
Angela:ill give you a minute she listens to it and gets teary eyed she hates fighting with Tim
Angela comes back in a few minutes later
Ang:you ok
Lucy:mhm i just need to sleep and think
Angela:guest rooms all set up for ya
Lucy:thanks
She heads to the room and lays down staring at the ceiling
Tims doing the same he looks over to Lucys side of the bed thats empty and his heart breaks a little
The next day he is tired he gets the kids ready and drops them off at school the school was told that their moms not to go near them and they make sure of it and he heads to the station
And finds Lucy
Tim:hey can we talk
Lucy:not now
Tim:Lu please
She looks up and sees his restless eyes and sad face
Lucy:ok
He takes her to the little garden area outside
Tim:im really sorry about last night i shouldn't of said any of that you are their mom you have been for a while i was upset and stupid and im sorry
Lucy:that hurt Tim
Tim:i know i feel horrible
Lucy:i did miss you guys last night
Tim:me too the kids asked for you before bed but i told them you were at work well Dylan
Alyssa heard everything and saw you leaving
Lucy:she ok
Tim:she is scared your leaving
Lucy:im not
Tim:no
Lucy:no i may be mad as hell at you right now but im not gonna leave
Tim:im really sorry Luce
Lucy:i know but i need more time
Tim:ok i love you

She walks away leaving him right there and Angela is walking into work and sees him

Tim:yeah
Ang:yall good
Tim:we will be
Ang:good see ya later
