A few days later Lucy and Tim are in the living room with one of Lucys friends from college over When they hear yelling coming from upstairs Tim:i got it He walks in Dylans room to find him and Alyssa Screaming at each other Tim:woah hey enough They both stop screaming and look up at Tim Alyssa:can you not stand so close to me She pushes Dylan away Tim:hey no get over here and stand next to me Now what is going on Dylan and Alyssa both start at the same time Tim:hey one at a time Dylan what happened Dylan:she came in my room and grabbed my book but i told her no because im reading it and i don't want to lose the page and she said thats to bad Tim:Alyssa give me the book Alyssa hands it to Tim who hands it back to Dylan Tim:there you go bud Dylan:thank you Tim:your welcome He turns to Alyssa Tim:go to your room me and mom will be in there shortly Alyssa:ok Tim walks back down stairs to Lucy Lucy:everything ok Tim:for now but me and you need to have a talk with our daughter in a bit Lucy:where is she Tim:i sent her to her room Lucy:ok well Michelle was just getting ready to head out Tim:ok it was nice to see you Michelle please come by anytime M:thanks bye guys Lucy:so what did Alyssa do Tim:tried to take Dylans book he was reading and he told her no and then when i got them to split up she pushed him Lucy:lets go have a talk with her then They walk up to Alyssas room Tim:have a seat on your bed Lucy:ok first off we know your having a hard time right now but its not ok to be rude to your brother and its really not ok for you to put your hands on him Tim:look at us when we talk to you Alyssa Alyssa:sorry Tim:now your gonna go apologize to your brother then your gonna get ready for bed Alyssa:but my bedtime isn't for another 2 hours Tim:yes but you acted out so now your receiving consequences Alyssa:ok Tim and Lucy take her into Dylans room Alyssa:im sorry for trying to take your book and pushing you Dylan:thats ok i forgive you Tim:alright go get ready for bed Alyssa:ok The next morning Tims alarm blared Lucy:turn it off Tim:mm Lucy:Timmm Tim:huh what Lucy:turn off the alarm Tim:ok Lucy turns over and moves into Tims arms Tim:good morning Lucy:5 more minutes Tim:no can do we have to get the kids ready for school Lucy:mm ok Tim got up to start getting the kids ready Tim:Alyssa time to get up please He walked over to Dylans bedroom Tim:Dylan time to get up and dressed bud Dylan:ok He walked into his and Lucys room to get dressed Tim:Lucy seriously come on get up Lucy:mmm fine Tim got dressed then checked to make sure the kids were up then went downstairs and made coffee knowing Lucy without morning coffee is scary and started breakfast he made omelettes for everyone and put some fruit on each of the kids plate and poured some orange juice for both and put their plates on the table for them Alyssa:morning Tim:good morning your breakfast is on the table Baby Alyssa:thanks Tim:your outfit is cute Alyssa:thanks
