Chapter 21 unexpected [part 1]

As everyone was heading back to base, Ratchet was working on the synthetic energon. Ratchet read what little formula bulkhead and previous notes he took to see if he could somehow find the correct formula for the synthetic energon. But no matter how many times he tried, it always ended up in failure.

[Ratchet]: What am I doing wrong? I went through the formula over and over again, taking notes, trying new formulas, and new ways to solve this unknown puzzle. Yet nothing works.

As Ratchet sighed in frustration, Optimus entered the lab in order to see how Ratchet was doing and to tell him something.

[Optimus]: it would seem you're having a hard time, old friend.

[Ratchet]: You're telling me. No matter how many times I tested it, the formula is always unstable or missing something.

[Optimus] it would be best if you took a break.

[Ratchet] : I know you, there's also another reason you're here, isn't it?

[Optimus] : Am I that obvious?

[Ratchet] : pretty much at this point. So go ahead and say what you're going to say.

[Optimus]: I was going to ask you to go to the main hall eilta, and I were about to discuss airachnid new Position with in our ranks.

[Ratchet] : Anything from having me getting another migraine.

[Optimus] : Then It is settled. I will see you there.

[Ratchet] : Yeah, yeah, I'll see you there, Optimus.but when will it start.

[Optimus] : When the others return for now, all you will have to wait.

As optimus left the room, Ratchet got up and looked back at the synthetic energon. Contemplating whether or not he really should go. On one hand, he wanted to since this was giving Him a severe headache, but on the other hand, the synthetic energon was too important. But so is figuring out the new ranking.Even though he feels like it is just gonna be another warrior class. But he would rather get It over with so that way he would have more time to find the right form. He left the room. And went to the main hall. Oddly enough, arcee and Bulkhead made it back to the base before Ratchet could even enter.

[Ratchet]: Hmm? Where are the children?

[Arcee] : with Bumblebee.

[Ratchet] : Why is that.

Arcee was about to tell Ratchet about bulkhead and found an old Comrades head, but Bulkhead cut her off before she could even say a single word.

[Bulkhead] : um because I found an abandoned ship, and I called for backup in case things got out of hand and acree was the only one Closest , so she came over bumblebee , said he would get the kids for us during our absence.

[Ratchet] : That makes sense. You should report this back to Optimus later.atfer the meeting.

[Arcee and bulkhead] : meeting?

[Ratchet] : You might as well know. Yes,there's going to be a meeting.

[Acree] : What's it going to be about?

[Ratchet] : Optimus and eilta wanted all of us to be there so they could inform us of airachnid new Position with in our ranks.

[Bulkhead] : Oh, what rank do you think she'll be in?

[Ratchet] : warrior class most likely. But only time will tell.for now, we just have to be patient.

[Bulkhead] : ok then I'll be back just got to um take care of something.
