Charlottes p.o.v

"Ok guys I'll give you one minute to practice, then we'll go full out again." They all nodded their heads going off to their friends, some actually practice others just talked.
I was at the dance academy I worked at, the class was mainly girls with only 5 boys. I've been working with most of them since they were little kids, now they're going to finish high school in a year or two. I sat in my chair exhausted, this bump wasn't helping at all. I was trying to hide it from the kids, though I gave up and I could tell they can see it. I was 15 weeks now and with two in there, I know they could tell I had a bump."Ok we'll go full out twice then you can go." They all sighed in relief, we've been in here for hours getting ready for the competition. I for one was extremely tired, telling by the sweat on their foreheads and wet hair I could tell they were too.

I played the music watching them, I felt so proud seeing them actually doing the choreography correctly. They've come so far and it almost makes me cry thinking about it.
"Ok before you go we need to talk." I sat in the chair, they all sat in a half circle around me. "So I know I've been keeping something from you guys and I've realized some of you already know. I am pregnant." They all gasped and turned into cheers with so many questions, "How far a long are you?" "15 weeks." "What's the gender?" "We don't know yet." They all stared at my stomach like it was a new invention made, "Oh and I'm having twins." Their eyes doubled in size and "woah" came all across the room.

"What happened to your ring?" That was a question I also knew would come up, I heard a couple girls talking about it. I never thought they'd actually speak up, being the ages of about 15-18 I talked to them like they were my kids.
Some even my own friends, but not too much just enough for them to have someone to talk to if needed. "Well um me and Mr. Cameron are going through something." I chewed on my bottom lip looking at them, "Are you two divorced?" I shook my head no, "No just a break I guess." They all seemed like they had more questions, but didn't say anything. "Ok well some reminders, practice tonight, the competition is in 4 days all the way in Louisiana, so make sure you re packed and ready! Any questions?" they shook their heads no looking around. "Ok you can leave!" They all said bye walking out to their parents.

I started to clean up grabbing my stuff to head out, "charlotte." I turned facing rose, my feelings about her were mixed. Being the daughter in-law I wanted her to love me, but the words she said to me that day dug into me. "Yeah." Her eyes were on my stomach eyeing my growing bump, honestly it looked like I had a small watermelon under my shirt. "I think we should talk." "About?" "About the other day." I scoffed not wanting to hear anything, she called me a slut and a golddigger.

Not her exact words with the golddigger part, but if she called me that that day it would mean the same thing. "I'm sorry for attacking you the way I did, I shouldn't have spoken to you in that way." I sat in the chair across from where she was standing, Yes I was angry but this weight on me was extremely exhausting, "You were angry happens to all of us." She stared at me with soft eyes, "Those were vial words that came from my mouth, I shouldn't have done that." "It's ok rose, it's above me now." She smiled softly, "I'm sorry but is that all?" I asked, she reached into her bag pulling out a box. I was hesitant taking it from her, I looked into the box seeing tickets to the Black swan. "Rafe told me how much you love to dance, he told me you're absolutely amazing. So I thought you would enjoy going to watch with rafe, if you two are still going to be together."

I stared at the tickets in shock, "Th-thank you so much." I breathed out still in shock, it would have taken months, maybe years in advance to get these tickets. "It's no problem, oh and congratulations on the twins, coming from me it's going to be a tough ride." I chuckled nodding my head, "It's been pretty good so far." "That's great, well I'll be going now." She turned walking to the door, "Wait." I called out she turned with a curious look, "Thanks rose."

"Honey lavender?" I asked rafe he laughed looking at me, "What it sounds pretty good." I shrugged, we were at a food truck like ice cream place. They had any type of ice cream and I felt like I was in heaven. We sat in the car eating the ice cream we got, watching the sunset. "Your mom came to me today." I said with a mouthful of ice cream, "I feel like I should say sorry for whatever she said," He turned facing me, "No actually she came to apologise." He looked shocked, then chuckled.

"Yeah she said she was sorry about what she said, congratulated us on twins, and gave me black swan tickets for the both of us." His eyes widened in shock, "Never would've thought my mom would apologize." "She's never apologized to anyone?" He shook his head no eating his ice cream, "You're the first I've heard of."

"Well I feel special." He smiled looking at me, I looked down and saw a big spot of ice cream on his cheek. I started to laugh and his smile turned into a puzzled look, "What?" He started to laugh along with me, "You got a huge spot of ice cream on your cheek." He tried using his tongue to lick it off, but he didn't reach it. "Here I'll get it," I leaned over wiping the ice cream off with my thumb, I could feel his body heat radiate off me.

I looked at him in his eyes, that hazel swirl always made me feel like I was swimming in such a deep pool. My heart started racing and I felt butterflies swarm my stomach, this feeling he gave me angered me. Though it also made me smile, I felt his breath fan my lips that now lowered to meet his, I leaned in softly kissing him. Oh god how I missed him.
He deepened the kiss, but I pulled back letting our noses touch. A blush fell onto my cheeks, "You're so beautiful." He breathed out, I kissed him again feeling like he was some type of magnet. When I pulled back for air a small smile played on our lips.
