"Jade-" The other Theodore caught her by the wrist to pull her down, but it was too late when the original Theodore and other Jade looked back at them in surprise.

Instantly, the dark-haired Theodore put his arm down the girl's shoulder, his eyes fixed on the original Jade with fear.

The other boy let go of Jade's wrist and crossed his arms. "I am rather surprised that Maximus is more scared of Terrene Jade's reaction than mine."

Theodore then looked at the prince. "I was just comforting her."

The prince smiled at him before his gaze turned soft when it landed on his crying girlfriend. "I understand." Then he turned to Theodore. "Jade here, however, needs an explanation."

"I'm sorry, prince Theodore. Let's, uh, let's exchange places."

The two boys quickly exchanged places, with the Prince of Faes immediately holding his girlfriend's arm to rub, as if to console her.

"It has already been half an hour since me and Lyra Jade arrived, why don't we go back to our place?" Prince Theodore suggested.

Theodore's gaze shifted from the prince's to Jade's. "What? With her?"

"Sure." Terrene Jade crossed her arms over her chest, eyes fixed on the princess. "Take us to your place." What is this cosplayer doing with my, I mean, Theodore?

"As you wish," Prince Theodore's hand slid from his girlfriend's arm to her hand before he intertwined them. He turned around with Lyra Jade, his other arm raised as he summoned a portal. After muttering a short spell, a watery orb appeared in front of them.

The prince of Faes and the princess silently entered the orb. On the other hand, the Terrenes were glued to their spot.

"Is that—?" Jade stopped herself in awe. "Is that a portal?"

The cosplayers, she could somewhat get a grasp of. Maybe they had surgery. After all, we both have the best features here; no one can disagree.

But the portal—this was her last straw.

She gripped Theodore's wrist as if she were telling him she was freaking out.

And she really was.

So, when Theodore looked at her with a smile, she widened her eyes at him. Be serious for once! She wanted to yell at him. Now is not the time to act cute on me!

"Yeah, come on. This portal closes in 15 seconds," the princess said.

"But Kieran! He needs to come too." Jade pulled away, suddenly remembering that she had a bodyguard waiting for her. "If he notices I'm gone, he'll have a whole search party in 3 minutes."

Princess Jade poked her boyfriend's forearm. "Let her bring her bodyguard. Come with them. I'll wait for you with the others."

The prince hesitantly walked through the portal. "Are you sure about this?" he asked when he was already on the Terrene side.

Lyra Jade nodded. "I'll wait by the tree house."

"Very well," Prince Theodore smiled. "See you then," he said, and then closed the portal between them.

"You bid farewell like you'll be separated for a decade," Jade said. Terrene Theodore nudged her side lightly, causing her to wince. She turned to him with a betrayed look. "Ow?!"

"This is a whole prince right here. Please show some respect, Jade," he almost pleaded.

"I'm the daughter of a renowned senator, the granddaughter of a superstar. We basically have the same authority," Jade replied.
