My chest heaved as I walked down the hallway. Mom and dad waited till the last minute to tell me it's a boarding school. I wouldn't even know since Chase is never home . I can't wait till I get this over with . I just really want to sleep .
I knocked on the door. I have to get my timetable. I just hope there are really nice people .
My heart nearly pounced out of my chest to see the person on the other side of the door.
The man I bumped into in the uniform store.
"Are you stalking me or something?" he asked. This prick has an ego as high as the sky. Maybe he needs someone to bring it to the ground .
"If I had to stalk someone, it wouldn't be you," I responded back with a snark. I would rather be at home than hell where and this piece of crap in front of me.i thought to myself .
"See you around, cannon." He said .Wait a minute. How does he know my surname . Before I can question further his gone.
I walked into the pricepals office to get my stuff.
I started heading to my locker to put these textbooks . The locker is pretty ordinary.
"Hey, I'm Melissa," the girl next to me says. I must say she is quite pretty. She has long brown hair with blue eyes, not to mention her freckles and makeup are gorgeous. I think it's safe to say she is going to be my favorite person here.
I didn't release. I was staring at her when suddenly a ball hit my arm, jolting me forward, making me nearly fall face first on the floor. Melissa helped me up, and I muttered a thank you.
Of course, it was my brother who nearly knocked me off my feet.This day can't possibly be worse. "Chase, you need to watch where you're going. You nearly knocked Claire to the floor ." Melissa said.
"I'm sorry, babe. I'll make it up to you later."Chase said, giving her a wink. I mentally gag, forgetting this is my brothers girlfriend. I've never actually met her before he just mentioned her, I didn't think. Not gonna lie. I thought his girlfriend was just as stuck up as him with the way he described her.
"You shouldn't be apolizing to me. You should be apologizing to Claire for goodness sake, Chase. "She told him. I'm already in love with her. I do think she deserves better, though.
"Sorry, kid,"he said with a little snarl . With that, he just left well it was either him or me.ih and I'll show him this phyco what a kid really behaves.
"So.. have you got your dorm number yet. "Lissa asked
I shake my head "Yes it's dorm 397, but I don't exactly know where the dorms are, not to mention the 397th."I sigh from exhaustion.
"Don't worry, I can show you where it is. You're in the dorm next to mine."Lissa said .Thank goodness I made a friend. I don't know what I would do if I had to go find those dorms . We walked up the stairs to the female dorms . Once we entered, I started unpacking while lissa was binge watching on Netflix in my dorm
"So which school did you go to ?" Lissa asked
"I used to go to River High. I loved the library there it was the only reason i came to school." I explained to her.
"Whats your favorite color?personally, mine is lilac, although I'm more into emo than preppy." I can tell she's telling the truth because everything she's wearing is emo except for her lilac crop top.
I respond to her by saying, " My favorite color navy blue or midnight blue.I love them, and I'm more of a bookworm type of girl which type of school character do you dislike the most."
"My least favorite is the pick me," she responded. Little does she know she's dating the biggest pick me I know. "What about you? Which one do you dislike the most?"she asks.
"My least favorite is probably the fuck boy or girl " who even likes does people who cheat on there partner. Ok. Again, I'm talking about my brother.
"Yeah, that one is also a good choice. "
"Do you want to get something to eat because I'm really starving from all this unpacking? Plus, it's already seven ò clock ."I asked. I'm seriously hungry. I could eat a whole cow.
"Yeah, let's go. I'm really starving. Let's get Macdonalds. I'm in the mood for a big juicy burger ." Lissa responded. I don't think I'll mind having a big juicy burger.

2 hours later...
"I'm so stuffed," Lissa called out
"Same." I respond.
"Are you excited for your first day here ?"she questioned.
"Not really. I'm really nervous. "I respond.
"Don't worry, you'll make it," she says with a wink
"Goodnight, lissa." I say .
"Night, Claire," she says .
With that, we both go to our respective dorms. This school feels a little more like home now that I made my first friend. Melissa. Technically, my brothers girlfriend, if it ends between them, I'm definitely staying friends with her. I mean, like, I can sense she is smart cunning sweet beautiful and actually really fun to be around . Before we left, I gave her my number, and she gave me a missed call to ensure that it's her. Mom and dad are going to be happy once they hear about Melissa.

I can't sleep I can't stop thinking of that stranger he is very snark that's for sure but I still can't believe he goes to the same school as me and to make matters worse he even knows my damn surname from who knows where. I sighed just two more years till college. Hopefully, it's better than this school. Out of all the schools, it had to be Richard's High, the worst school of all. This really is a new school.
