Expectations VS Reality (Short)

It was currently daytime, and you were out in the Pizzaplex answering questions by yourself. A few kids had stopped you to ask a few, and you were more than happy to oblige

"What's it like living with Freddy? I imagine that it's super duper fun!" One of them grins

"Well, you wouldn't be wrong at all about that! Freddy is a very fun bear to be around." You smile back, thinking about all of the things you've done with him for the past few years

"Now, now, I'm sure they have their fair share of adult stuff too." Their dad steps in

"Well, yes, we do also have that. But it's mostly just goofy stuff we do every day." You smile and shrug

"I bet I can guess what you both do when it comes to acting like adults." The dad smirks

"Sure, be my guest." You shrug again

"Okay, well, he's buff, so you must work out with each other every day. Your mornings must go like this..."

(Expectation)

"Wakey wakey, Y/n!" Freddy shoots straight up in bed

"Whuh! What's happening???" You do as well, hyperventilating

"It's time for our daily workout! Rise and shine, we have to get started now if we want to stay fit!" He hops right out of bed and begins doing a load of squats

Grabbing onto your wrists, he hoists you out of bed before tossing you some gym clothes

"We won't be having breakfast today, so I hope you had a big dinner last night!"

"But I'm so tired..." You whine while putting on a pair of gym shorts

"Too bad! We need to stay fit!" He begins running in place while huffing loudly

Grabbing onto your wrist again, he drags you out of the room to go exercise in the gym for the rest of the day

After hearing the guy try to guess how your mornings with Freddy go, you chuckle a bit at the absurdity of it

"Haha! That's a good one. But it's more like..."

(Reality)

As you and Freddy are sleeping, your phone alarm suddenly goes off

"Mmm, Freddy, that's for you..." You roll over and nudge his shoulder

"Five more minutes..." He murmurs before yawning softly

"But you're schedule is booked by three performances, ten birthdays, and one meet and greet..."

"But I don't want to do any of that. I just want to stay in bed all day and snuggle with you..." He turns over and clings to your side, gently nuzzling your cheek with his nose

"I'll make you a fresh pizza at the end of the day if you get up and work hard." You murmur, trying to get him up and working

"And a kiss...?" He asks quietly, lightly squeezing your arm

"And a kiss." You smile tiredly

"I'm on my way!" He springs out of bed

Quickly changing into fresh clothes, he scurries back over to the bed and kisses you on the lips

"Bye, for now, I love you." He finishes strapping his shoulder pads to his arms

"I love you too. Have a good day out there." You peck him back before stroking his cheek lightly

"Thank you. I hope you have an even better day." He nuzzles into your palm

Kissing you on the lips one last time, Freddy straightens out his top hat before walking out of the room with a spring in his step
