Night horrors

It was currently nighttime, and you were asleep with Freddy in his room

What was he dreaming about?

Well, no one but him knows.

There's this little girl making her way into what she knows as the rundown Pizzaplex while trying to find her friend, Gregory.

"Hello? Gregory?" She calls out as she steps into the abandoned lobby

"Gregory??"

Looking around the place, she takes in the scenery - from the pitch black rooms, to the discolored and rotting walls

"Woah... It looks... so rundown..."

Shivering, she decides to press forward and start looking in other places for her missing friend

"Greg-"

Before she can call out her friend's name again, she trips over something covered in ashes. She quickly stands up and dusts herself off before looking down at the large lump of ash

"What- what is this?" She presses the tip of her shoe against it, instantly feeling something solid underneath

Kneeling down and dusting some of the ashes off of whatever is underneath, she gasps loudly before stumbling back

"M-MONTY?!" She screams, stumbling back onto the floor while crawling away

What she had just uncovered was Monty. Well, what was left of him anyway... All that remained was small bits of his bones combined with patches of decomposing scales here and there

"I think I'm gonna be sick..."

After taking a minute to calm down, realization suddenly strikes her - if Monty was just barely able to make it to the exit, what does that mean for Roxy, Chica, and even Freddy himself?

"God, please don't let me find out..." She mumbles to herself while backing away from Monty's remains to go look somewhere else

"Okay. Calm down, Cassie, just find Gregory and get out of here as quick as you can."

Taking a deep breath, she decides to go look around Rockstar Row to look for clues as to the whereabouts of Gregory, being guided by nothing more than a dim flashlight and her previous knowledge of the Pizzaplex's layout

"Gregory?? Are you in here??" She calls out once getting into the area that use to house everyone's Green Rooms

Upon making it to where Freddy himself use to stay, she starts hearing soft crying coming from the charred room

"Fre-Freddy? Is that you?" She peeks in through the missing door leading to his room

"H-Huh?! Who's there?" He looks around, his back turned to her

"Freddy! You're alive!"

With a relieved smile on her face, she quickly steps into his room only to instantly panicked when she sees him holding something, or rather, someone

"Freddy...? What do you have in your arms...?"

"..." He says nothing while continuing to sob quietly, seemingly rocking back and forth with whatever he's holding onto
