I am changing the years by one to fit my fanfic better. I am also changing when Hermione got the time turner from 3rd year to 6th year. It makes more sense for McGonagall to trust a 17-year-old with this than a 14-year-old. McGonagall had time to see how responsible Hermione was.

OTHER CHANGES
Another change I will be making is Molly's age; 47 is a little high, so I will be changing it to 44. This means she started to have children after she graduated Hogwarts which is 18 in my story. Everything else will stay the same. Bill would just have a larger gap of five years between him and Charlie.

Molly and Hermione are both war-torn souls who bond through their shared grief. I find that they pair well in this story. In the main universe there relationship is rocky at best so I wouldn't pair them up there. But here? Here they have real chemistry.
It's a big age-gap I know, but there are plenty of fics on here that pair Hermione with Narcissa and Bellatrix who are also much older.
And don't you just love older women getting second chances at life?
