It's been a month since Hyunjin and Haerin figured out they have feelings for each other. Nothing awkward happened, they continued acting normal. Hyunjin had decided that today's the day that he would confess to Haerin. Was he nervous? Yes of course, but he wasn't going to let that stop him.
Haerin and Felix arrived at college for their morning classes, Felix knew about Hyunjin confessing today so he swiftly left without Haerin noticing so they could be alone. Haerin smiled and waved at Hyunjin, he did the same. They started talking for a bit while walking to the rooftop as they always did before class started.
"Haerin can I talk to you about something that's been on my mind?" Hyunjin asked suddenly. Haerin nodded, allowing Hyunjin to continue. Hyunjin took a deep breath before speaking again. "Haerin, I know we've been friends for a long time. I never would have thought that you could possibly mean anything more to me than just best friends. But I've recently realized something." He paused, taking another breath before he spoke again. "I realized that I like you. Like more than just a friend. I have feelings for you." He finished.
Haerin stood there processing what Hyunjin just told her. Her cheeks flushed, she looked down and smiled. "Hyunjin, I have something to say too." She started and looked back up at him. "I also recently realized that I like you." She smiled. Now it was his turn to smile with his cheeks flushed. "So I guess that leaves one question." Hyunjin started, he grabbed Haerins hand and intertwined their fingers. "Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked, still smiling. Haerin nodded "Yes, I would love to." She answered.
Hyunjin pulled her into a hug, she gladly accepted it. Hyunjin kissed the top of her head. "We should probably head to class now." Hyunjin said, Haerin groaned "But I wanna stay like this here, with you." Haerin pouted. "I know, but we just have two classes today. And after class we can go to the Café or the park." He said and she nodded "fine, I guess." She said, still pouting. They walked to class together, hand in hand.
Someone was watching them from a distance, and she had made a plan to break them up. But she was going to wait for the right time.
"You will be mine Hwang Hyunjin." Kim Minji whispered to herself.
