—synopsis—

Sloane Casey's life takes an unexpected turn when she becomes the new physical therapy assistant for the college ice hockey team. Needing the credits for her physiology studies, she is prepared to handle bruises and sprains, not the infuriating presence of Malachi Dixon, the team's star player. The son of the team's coach, Malachi is used to getting his way both on and off the rink. But when an unexpected collision on her first day results in a minor concussion, Malachi finds himself in the unfamiliar role of caretaker.

From the moment they crash into each other, the tension between Sloane and Malachi is undeniable. Forced to interact daily, their initial animosity grows into a battle of wills. Sloane is determined to prove herself in a male-dominated environment, while Malachi struggles with the shadows of his father's expectations. As they clash over treatments and training schedules, sparks fly and boundaries are pushed.

However, beneath the surface of their rivalry, a deeper connection begins to form. Amidst the chaos of games, injuries, and personal revelations, Sloane and Malachi discover that they are more alike than they thought.
