It was  5 a.m., and I had to get ready because I had a flight at 8. Yes, I am a flight attendant, I always loved traveling from a young age. Which pushed me to want to become one.
    
I have been working for 4 years now and have traveled to over 15 countries. As I woke up I grabbed my suitcase and placed it in the living room then went to take a shower.

The airport wasn't far from where I live so I had enough time. After finishing my shower I did my skincare routine and did some natural makeup.
    
I neatly placed my curly wig in a bun because that's the easiest thing I can do. I have thick curly hair that's is hard to manage. I work with Delta Airlines so I grabbed my uniform from the closet and put it on.
    
I went into the kitchen and decided on having cereal, nothing too heavy, and a cup of chamomile tea. I can't do without my morning tea.

That's what keeps me going. I grab a bowl and pour the cereal in then the milk. Then I made the tea. I would always eat my cereal first and then drink the tea after.
    
I  finished eating and drinking my tea I washed up the dishes and went to put on my shoes. I then grabbed my GLE car keys and drove to the airport.

📍 MIAMI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
7:10 ᴀᴍ

I parked my car, grabbed my suitcase, and went inside. I went through immigration and did the regular inspections. I proceeded to the gate where the plane was.

Today we were also going to meet our new boss/new owner. Our old boss was retiring and his son was taking over. 
    
He was a second dad to me. I could always go to him, but I was going to miss him. So I hope this one is good or even better because I would hate to have an issue or have to put someone in their place.
     
When I got through and boarded the plane I saw my bestie Ava. She was a dark skin girl that had the prefect hourglass figure although she hated when I compliment her.

I hugged her and we began to talk.
"Star, have you heard about the new owner? I heard he's a whole bag of snacks. Maybe you can get to know him".
   
She came up to hug me. I kissed her on both cheeks.

A so we greet each other from primary till now a me woman no matter what.

"No," while side-eyeing her.
      
Why does she have to come spoil my mood with her trying to set me up? She didn't hear me say I'm not doing any relationship right now.

"Star you need to get back in the game, you have been lonely for  2 years. It's time to get a move on. Mine your front dry up" giving me a serious look.
       
Her mouth doesn't have a filter. Why did she have to say that right in front of the new girl? I know I shouldn't let what my ex did stop me from moving on with my life. 

How can you forget when your first love, first everything cheated on you and got two girls pregnant? I just can't trust anyone of these niggas no more.
      
I am taking my time to figure my life out and make my life about me.
"It's still a no Ava, so drop it,". I said.
       
I walked into the cabin deck. I went to say good morning to all the other crew members and our co-pilot and head pilot. The new boss hasn't come yet so I still don't know how he looks.

I went back out to check the seats to see if everything was working properly and if they all had the booklets with instructions and information. 
       
After I finished checking, I went to the boarding door. When I saw Ava standing there smiling, I looked at her wondering what she was smiling about.

"Why are you smiling?"
"Your man reach." She looked at me laughing and pointing to a man who was walking behind us heading toward someone.
       
I didn't get a good look at him because his face was turned in the other direction.
"Ava I won't get involved with our new boss no way,"  giving her a stern look.

"You are saying  that now wait  until you see him, you will understand what I mean." She stood at the door waiting for people to start boarding.
       
People started to board the plane, everyone was now boarded. I didn't get a chance to see "our handsome" new boss.

I guess when we land in England I will get a chance to see him because we have a meeting with him in England.
        
As it came five minutes before take-off Ava went around to check to see if everyone was seated before we started to demonstrate how they should put on their seat belts and also demonstrate the safety protocols.
          
It was now time for us flight attendants to take our seats as it was take-off time. I was seated in the middle and Ava was at the front.

We had a trainee who was seated with Ava. Her name was Kelly and Ava's boyfriend or something like that did a sit at the back with take people man Shelly-Ann.

Yes, that's her name because everybody she sees she wants she irritates me but she is the least. As you can see, she and I are not friends and I don't like the gal after she try to play innocent when she send her disgusting pictures to my bestie boyfriend.

Girl you don't have to gawn so

No man it hurts my soul for a girl like her she makes men think women don't have any ambition.
           
As the plane ascended in the air. We ensured that everyone was seated and comfortable for this 8-hour and 40-minute flight to England.

It was now five hours into the flight and passengers were able to get up and stretch their legs and use the restroom. 
   
Then soon after Kelly and Ava got up and started to ask if people wanted anything to drink or eat as we were over halfway through our flight. On this flight passengers were able to bring snacks but no heavy food.
