Amethyst:
You would think that after the argument between me and Abigail, neither of us would be on speaking terms with one another and it would feel like we would be the only ones who had some sort of tension between one another. But that is where you would be slightly wrong as tension happens amongst anybody around you, even if you don't know about some sort of conflict that has been going on for over a year now and you just now found out about it.
How exactly do I know any of this? Well, let's just say this happened one faithful day; something none of us were even aware of until that one faithful Monday in August of 2020.
***
Date: August 26, 2020.
On that very same day, I joined the Forest Spirits Division on a patrol to help and investigate a few areas that were marked by the enemies and also get rid of some sentinels that were in the territory as well and I was happy to join them since I hardly saw any of its members, unaware of what was going to happen that day.
We handled the main task of reclaiming territory first and then we were about to get a bit messy when we were about to handle the sentinels where MoonStone discussed a strategy to take them down. But when he finished, BlackFang went on to say: "I got a better plan! How about you go in alone and fight all who knows how many sentinels there are while we sit back do nothing to help you out?"
Amethyst: "BlackFang, why would you say such a horrible thing to your own joint leader?!"
BlackFang: "Because I just can, okay?!"
But I could MoonStone stopped dead in his own tracks, looked at BlackFang and asked him: "Just why do you hate me so?!"
BlackFang: "Hate would be an understament in this situation, more like a feeling where I wish you were dead!"
Amethyst: "And just why in the name of eveything that is godly and holy would you want your own joint leader of your birth Division to just drop dead out of the blue?!"
BlackFang: "Because if this silver bastard didn't step in the way, I could've saved Oak and DaisyPetal when the Southwest was ablaze!"
MoonStone: "That's it? You're mad at me because I was just doing my job?!"
BlackFang: "I'm mad at you because you're the reason why my son and his grandmother are dead and even more pissed off because you decided not to go in to at least help them out despite KNOWING that Oak had trouble with his breathing! And if it weren't for you, he would probably still be alive. But guess what? My son and DaisyPetal are dead, under the ground and we won't be able to see them again until we die! And it's all your fault."
For a moment, there was a silent pause of shock from what came out of BlackFang's mouth and FalconFeather stepped in the way of BlacFang, guarding his father away from him and said: "So basically you're angry with my father all because he prevented you from going back into a burning forest to save Oak and even DaisyPetal knowing that Oak had breathing problems and they died for that reason and you just want him to drop randomly for no apparent reason? What the hell is wrong with you?!"
BlackFang: "I'm more than mad with this guy you have the misfortune of calling your father for killing my son and his grandmother! I hate him for this reason and he deserves a fate worse than death! Well, at least SilverSun did."
MoonStone: "Are you fucking psychotic or something?! What nerve do you have, talking about my own sister like that?! My dead sister! The aunt of the wolf right in front of you! The one who died in combat with thousands of others one year ago near the Golden Springs River! The one whose blood colored the river red!"
Amethyst: "Okay. Okay! Timeout for just a minute now! Both of you, stop what you're doing right now and think about this whole argument just for a second. Arguing won't solve anything; it's not gonna bring back the ones we loved the most that died in the past, it's not going to change anything, it's going to resolve an issue that's been going for over a year now and it's definitely not going to solve the current situation we're dealing with right now. Trust me, I know and so does my own mother. BlackFang, Oak loved you, he looked up to you just like the rest of your remaining pups that you have right now as we speak. With how you're acting right now, he'd probably be disappointed in your actions and ashamed to even have you as his father. And MoonStone, I know how much SilverSun meant to you; she was your sister and I know that you spent so many nights, crying yourself to sleep and sometimes wake up in the middle of the night, haunted by the image of how she was killed that faithful day last year in June but she wouldn't want you fighting like this either. Just please, think about what the both of you are doing and don't escalate the situation even further and make it worse for yourself, please!"
The two of stopped for a moment and took a step back and i watched as the two reconciled with one another and afterward, BlackFang said: "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's take down some sentinels!"
And then we all worked together to take down the sentinels as one and afterward, we went back and I told Aurora the whole story of what happened and how I resolved from there. "Good work, Amethyst. Always stop, take a step back and think before you act." She told me.
"Thanks." I replied.
I knew that I did the right thing that day and I hoped to do the right thing always even if it seemed a bit harsh in a way.
