Chapter 20

The police officer looks at Obanai "Hm... Okay" He looks at Sanemi and then back at Obanai "So what exactly were y'all doin'?"

"We were playing games and watching movies" Obanai says "That was all we were doing"

"Is that what y'all were doing" The officer glares at Sanemi

"We were doing that but that was half of it" Sanemi says. Obanai looks at Sanemi and starts getting nervous.

"What was the other half?" The officer asks

"We were working on assignments and we were also studying" Sanemi says, Obanai nods in agreement.

"Hmm Okay so you weren't involved in the case" The officer then writes something down on a piece of paper and then looks back up at Sanemi "You're free to go, but if there's anything you suspect, tell us right away" Obanai and Sanemi nod.

Both young men exited the police department. Obanai looks at Sanemi "So now that you aren't suspicious anymore...will you stop running away?" Obanai asked

"Yeah I guess I can stop running away. By the way is there going to be school tomorrow or is it still going to be closed?" Sanemi asked

"Hmm... I don't know, but I think there won't be school tomorrow" Obanai said

"Then can I stay at your place for tonight?" Sanemi asked as he puts an arm around Obanai's shoulders

"Sure. You don't have to ask, plus you're always welcome to stay over" Obanai smiles.

Sanemi returns a smile. They both continue to talk while walking. They decided to stop by the convenience store since they were both hungry.

Sanemi opens the door and keeps it open for Obanai "Ladies first" Sanemi says jokingly

"Excuse me, sir, I am actually a man" Obanai says, but then starts laughing

"You can't even be serious-" Obanai smacks Sanemi on his head "ow!" Sanemi rubs his head "I was joking"

"I don't care" Obanai then walks towards the food section and grabs food. Sanemi also gets some food. They then go to the cashier to start paying, Sanemi puts his food with Obanai's "Did you honestly come empty handed" Obanai said glaring at Sanemi

"Yes, and you won't mind paying for me since I pay for mostly your stuff" Sanemi says. Obanai rolls his eyes before he starts paying for Sanemi and his food.

Obanai prepares his noodles while Sanemi prepares his sandwich that he (Obanai) brought.

"Obanai" Sanemi looks at Obanai

"What now?" Obanai asks

"Can you buy me something to drink?"

"*sighs* Fine. What you want?"

"Um...I want...you"

"HUH!?" Obanai looks at Sanemi

"Huh? I meant to say Pepsi" Sanemi smiles

"Okay. Can or bottle?"

"Bottle"

Obanai leaves his noodles with Sanemi and turns around to go and buy Sanemi his Pepsi. Obanai grabs the bottle of Pepsi and heads to the cashier. Obanai pays for it and goes back to where Sanemi is "Here" Obanai handed the bag to Sanemi

"Thank you" Sanemi grabs the bag and takes out the cold Pepsi.

Sanemi and Obanai head outside to sit down at one of the seats that are outside. Obanai eats his noodles and Sanemi eats his Sandwich.
