*Amber's POV*

Nagising ako ng maaga at nagsimula ng maghanda ng agahan. I will be cooking eggs, bacon and hotdogs.

Bago ko lutuin ang mga ulam ay nagluto muna ako ng rice.
I heard footsteps coming in
Tumingin ako sa taong papalapit and it was Hunter
Maaga siyang nagising ngayon

"Sign this paper"

Lumapit naman ako sa kanya and read the document, stating the details of the divorce settlement.

"Divorce?"

Nakayukong sabi ko. Why?

"You will be receiving 3 million dollars after the divorce. It's just fair to be with my family for three years. Don't worry about Grandma; I'll talk to her about it. What you need to do is make sure to pack your things today and move out."

I narrowed my eyes looking at the paper. I don't need his money!

"I'll take care of myself! You don't need to give me any money!"

I was working online every night so I had money on my own. I didn't have a card though. I'll be going to the bank after the divorce is complete so I won't be updating my details againI save my money using PayPal and Wise so I don't need a card. Most of my transactions are online. But since I'm moving out, I need to have cash. I'll be asking Julie's help with this

After I packed my belongings I saw his family in the living room

"Where are you going, Amber? Did something happen?"

I shook my head

"I'll go ahead, Evelyn. Thank you"

Umalis na ako kaagad and texted Julie for help.I will be meeting her outside the Beats store.

*Phone ringing*

I look at my Phone. What does he want now?

"What?"

I'm mad at him. After 3yrs he will divorce me just like that?!

"Why didn't you sign the papers?"

"Change the divorce settlement. I won't be getting any money from you."

Who the hell does he think he is? Paying me 3 million after 3 years?! What am I to him for those 3years?!

"Fine. Go to my office tomorrow morning"

I ended the call. I didn't notice my tears were now falling

Why am I even crying?!

I look at the car in front of me. Pumasok na rin ako

"What happened?"I didn't answer her

"Drop me on the farthest condo in the city. Pay it for me first. I'll pay you online. I don't have a card"

Tumango lang naman siya. I leaned my head back and just watched the trafficAfter 30 minutes ay nandito na kami. Julie settled everything and gave me my keycard

"You can use my card if you need cash. This doesn't have any amount in it. I'll give you the details later so you can log in online."
