I woke up late because I turned off my alarm. I got a lot of notifications from my other phone.

I'm relieved to know that there are a lot of businesses that still want me on their team. I thought they would be able to forget me after focusing on 1 company only. I checked my other phone and got a message from Hunter

"8:00 am in my office tomorrow"

This was sent yesterday at 10:30 pmOkay. The earlier the better. I didn't reply to his message and read other messages

Julie: I'm just letting you know that Sid called and Maxwell was so furious about your resignation. He's trying to locate you

Ethan: Dude, you resigned? Well, it's about time. Are you going back to Dark Jobs?

I called Ethan after receiving his message. It's been 3years since I did not accept any Dark jobs lately

"Are there any interesting jobs right now? I feel like I'm a newbie to this haha"

"Naah. A lot of companies are still looking for you. They even ask if you're alive!"

"I'll check it out later. I'm just gonna take my dinner right now. Thanks, Ethan!"

I ended the call. Ethan and Julie are not the only ones who know who I am. There are still people who protect my identity. I'm still working with them now but not like how I worked with Hunter before.

They have great people as well. I will only do the job if they can't do it on their own. You know, I'm just a backup

By the way, Julie is known as Kai in Light Jobs and Glitch in Dark Jobs

Ethan is known as Xavier in Light Jobs and Enigma in Dark Job

And I am known as Raven in Light Jobs and Knight in Dark Jobs

The 3 of us have unique phones that we use for work. This was made by Ethan to prevent other people from knowing about us. To protect our privacy and the real us. It also changes our voices when we speak. Most of them know us as men.

We work together when we are working in Dark Jobs before. For complicated jobs only. Dark Jobs is a platform used by some big companies to deal with illegal matters. Once our tasks are completed, the job is done, and the case is closed. We don't normally give out phone numbers in DJ. We communicate through the website itself.

On the other hand. Light Jobs is for everyone. All of the work there is full-time and done legally. But we still need to hide our identities coz all companies can access the Light Jobs website. If they know who we are, some might force us to work on Dark Jobs and we don't want that. We only accept Dark Jobs if the work is reasonable.

I opened my laptop and went through all the proposals. Let's see which company is generous right now.

I just found out that I got 200+ proposals. This will take forever if I go through all this.

I opened an application where it filtered out the top 10 proposals in terms of valueJust a few clicks and it gives me the company I wanted to read thoroughly. Top on the list is the Hayes Enterprise. Well, it's not surprising. They also got the top spot 3years ago but rejected them and chose Hunter's company.

Stupid girl!

I opened it and the monthly payment they offer me is $5,000,000.

"Wow. They are generous. This is bigger than what Hunter paid me monthly!"
