*Amber's POV*
I went to Hunter's company and called Sid to let him know nasa baba nakedNaghintay lang ako ng mga 5 minutes at dumating na siyaPumasok na kami sa elevator at dumating sa office ni Hunter

He guides my way through his office. Sid opened the door and there were 3 people inside aside from Hunter

I saw a girl sitting on the sofa and the other 2 men were in front of Hunter. They are talking about business.

"Are you Amber?"

Tinigna ko naman siya. Tumayo siya at lumapit sakinSo siya nga!

"I'm Megan. I'm Maxwell's childhood friend and fiance"

Ooohh. Childhood friend? So, he left me because of this girl?That's new info for me. Hindi ko siya pinansin at lumapit na sa desk ni Hunter

"I hate to disturb you guys but I'm a little busy to wait until you're done discussing things. Where is the paper I needed to sign?"

Sabi ko kay Hunter. Pinaalis niya muna yung dalawang lalaking kausap niya and he lend me the papers

Binasa ko muna bago ko pinermahan

Since it does not include any money then I signed it

"Where are you staying now Amber?"

Tanong niya. Tinignan ko naman siya

"None of your business. You don't need to worry about me, Mr. Harrison. I'm living my life happier"

I got the pen and signed the papers.

"Well, great to know that."

Tumalikod na ako at aalis na sana ng bigla siyang nagsalita

"Wait"

Tinignan ko naman si Hunter papuntang book shelf niya. He get a book that looked familiar to me.

"Here. It seems you're not done reading this book."

Hindi ko pa siya kinuha at tinignan ko lang yung libro habang hawak niya

Silent Whispers: Love Between Darkness and Silence. That's the book I'm currently reading secretly in his room.

Tinignan ko naman siya

"I don't need it."

Aalis na sana ako ng may bigla akong naalala

"Wait. Did you open the book?"

Tanong ko sa kanya. As I remember correctly, I wrote something in that book. Did he know?

"I did and read it too. I get curious why you like this book"

Parang gusto ko nalang lamunin ng lupa. I wrote sh*ts on that book. I leave a piece of paper and write something on it if it's a good chapter.

"I suggest reading the whole book. It's a wonderful story"

Binigay niya naman sakin. I was still looking at the book. Nahihiya ako bigla sa kanya. Hindi ko alam kung ano ba dapat kong sabihin para makaalis na

"What kind of book is that ba?"

Bigla naman lumapit si Megan sakin and she read the book title

"That's pretty boring. I prefer scrolling my social media than reading books."

Sabi niya. Boring?Nainis naman ako sa sinabi niya.

"Boring? Now, I understand why your brothers didn't give you any of their businesses. You're stupid!"
