Chapter 13

EVAN

When I arrived at the city, dumiretso agad ako sa institution. I don't plan to take a break maiisip ko lang sya. What if he'll find out? What will he do?

Urgh sht bat ba yan parin ang iniisip ko? He don't feel the same way, nababanguhan lang talaga sya sakin kaya ganun nalang sya makayakap every time we slept together.

I came back to my reverie when I heard a knock on my office door, then my co-doctor entered with a deep frown on his forehead.

"You returned so abruptly .." he pursed his lips, and it made me think of someone who's always doing that. But Knov is much cuter. Dmn I should stop thinking about my past patient.

"Oh? What's with it? I'm an efficient doctor." I boasted that made him look at me disgustedly.

"You look like an alien Evan." He grimaced. I motioned him to have sit but he declined.

"Yeah? But someone says he likes seeing me everyday than the colors in the rainbow." I raised my left brow at him. He rolled his eyes.

"Then that someone is a psychopath," he shrugged. "..wala sa tamang pag-iisip ang mas gusto kang makita keysa sa magagandang kulay ng bahaghari."

I laughed at him. Yeah he got it right, pero okay naman na si Knov. Alam kong hindi na sya babalik sa dati. He's good, hindi na sya psychopath. He just needs companion, and Mrs. Chekhov promised to send someone to accompany Knov.

" Yeah you got it right Marcus. But I know you're just envious of me because you never heard that kind of joke from a psychopath before, don't you?" I teased.

"Bruhh I don't care." He rolled his eyes at me. "Oh btw, I came to give you this. Akala ko nga di ka na makakaabot nyan."

I looked at the card he gave. A wedding invitation. I opened the card and saw his name on it. Marcus dela Vega and Terron Stanly. Wow!

" Is this real? " He nodded with a small smile. "Wee? Where is the venue? " same s-x wedding is prohibited in this country kaya malamang sa ibang bansa sila ikakasal.

"Actually, we're a legal married couple already. We held the wedding in Germany, at the exact day you accept your new contract. But still, I want to held a party here." I looked at him amused.

"Is it not too sudden? Ilang buwan palang kayo ni Terron ah" I commented.

"Duhh. In love, it is not the measure of time, it's the feelings. When you realize that you can't live your future without him. Can't imagine to have another lover except him. When you struggled to fall asleep without his warmth. And of course kapag nasa tamang edad na kayo. When you feel that this is it. He's the one for me." He spoke every words so passionately that I want to smack his head.

"Oh yeah? so kindly get out of my office Marcus. I don't have a friend so corny as you." pagtataboy ko dito.

He chuckled and turned his back. "You'll understand once you're at it." pahabol nya pa bago tuluyang lumabas ng opisina ko.

Oh Marcus, you don't know what I've been through.

Inakyat ko ang mahabang gate ng bahay namin. I don't want to woke up my 'pinaglihi sa sama ng loob' brother.

Hindi naman kasi ako dito umuuwi after work, it just happened that I forgot the key to my condo in the island. Manghihingi nalang ako ng spare key bukas. Gabi na din kasi.

I heaved a sigh in relief when I finally got down. Pinagpag ko ang dalawang palad.

"So may plano ka rin palang umuwi noh?" Napausog ako sa kaba dahil sa biglaang bosis sa likuran ko.

When I turned to him, I saw my younger brother stared at me boredly. His both arms are folded just below his chest. Oh wait ,is he really my sibling?

"Eren. Kanina ka pa ba jan?" I asked.

"Hmm.." umakto pa syang tila nag-iisip. "..sabihin nalang nating nandito na ako simula ng naisipan mong akyatin ang gate ng bahay natin." he shrugged.

Napahimas ako sa batok." Bakit di mo nalang ako pinagbuksan ng gate? "

"Because you're stup-d kuya." I clenched my teeth dahil sa gigil, this is my brother Eren,18 years old pilosopo, feeling adult, hygienic etc. He loves teasing me pero ang totoo nyan namiss nya lang ako.

"Wala ako sa mood para kalabanin ka ngayon Eren." matamlay kong saad.

Nilampasan ko sya at dumiretso sa loob ng kabahayan. Our house is not that big, syempre dahil dalawa lang din naman kami ni Eren.

Our parents? They separated long ago leaving me with my brother. But it's okay our communication is good kahit may ibang pamilya na sila.

I didn't stop in the kitchen diretso lang ako hanggang marating ang dating kwarto. Hindi narin ako nagbihis pa at agad na dumapa nalang sa kama.

"You're broken hearted." I can hear my brother's voice beside my bed.

"Shut up Eren. Go back to your room." I mumbled.

"Magbihis ka muna bago matulog kuya. I can't imagine myself nursing an ailed st-pid brother."

I chuckled at the sternity of his voice.

"Hindi ako lapitin ng sakit." ibang sakit ang nararamdaman ko ngayon. Hindi ko na dinagdag ang last part baka pagtawanan pa ako ng feeling adult kong kapatid.

"Whatever, hindi ako aalis dito hanggat hindi ka tatayo jan para magbihis" he commanded, sternity is constant on his voice.

Wala akong magawa kundi ang tumayo nalang para umalis sya.

"Good night kuya"

"Good night Eren."

Nagbihis ako ng pantulog bago dumapa na naman sa kama. As I fell asleep there's only one person in my dream, and he is no rather than Knov, my psychopath. In my dreams he is mad at me, and the blue orbs that are glaring at me promised danger.
